Ms. Tawana - Education Director - Ms. Tawana is our Education Director, and since 1993 has consistently devoted her professional career to the development of young children. She started working with her mother in the childcare industry when she was just sixteen. She received her Child Development Associate’s degree in Lawton, Oklahoma. Soon after, she became a licensed director. Her personal and professional experience with children of all ages has allowed her to develop excellent skills in decision-making and follow-through, and polished her charismatic personality with integrity, sincerity and a genuine concern for the children under care and tutelage. Tawana’s proven people skills have enabled her to work successfully within the community to guide The Goddard School toward achieving our goal of laying a strong foundation for our children.

Ms. Veronica - Lead Pre-K 1 Teacher (Mexico Room) - Ms. Veronica has been working in childcare for nine years and is currently working towards a Child Development Associate’s (CDA) degree. When she first started working with children, it felt so natural and she noticed as she became a teacher that she grew as a person. Her motherly instincts with children lead her to love every child as her own. Her philosophy is, "If you can learn to let a child teach you love and trust than you should have no problem learning how to love and trust a child who is not your own, children teach grown ups how to do things better no matter what the obstacles are in life,” adds Veronica.
