The Goddard School - Welcome to Our Staff Biography Page - At The Goddard School® located in Owasso, OK, we pride ourselves on our teachers!

All of our teachers meet or exceed the requirements of the State of Oklahoma and local licensing authorities.

All of our teachers have First Aid and CPR certifications and background checks.
All of our teachers have completed a biography of themselves that you can view on our Bio-wall in our building.

All staff are encouraged to continue with their education and training from our Corporate office through Goddard University (GSU) and through local educational institutions. All teachers participate in yearly professional development days that are scheduled so that outside experts can help train our staff in State required topic and on other important educational areas. Our teachers participate in 20 hours of approved training each year in various areas.

Communication is very important between the parents and our teachers and is enhanced through Daily Activity Reports, twice a year parent/teacher conferences, newsletters, weekly email updates, and parent information boards. Owners: Marta and Tom Young - Marta has a Bachelor's degree in MIS and worked in that field before having three children, when she then became a substitute teacher for the public school district. Tom has an MBA from the University of Tulsa. They enjoy working in the field of education and viewing the world through the eyes of the children!

Director:  Ms. Denise Ms. Denise has a CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) and over 19 years of experience working as a early childhood provider in a classroom as well as serving as a director/owner.  She enjoyed working in the Infant Room at The Goddard School before moving to her new role as Assistant Director.  Denise is a pound parent of one daughter, enjoys spending time with her family, is an avid reader, going to the beach and watching moives. She enjoys spending time with children watching them learn and grow.
