OakLeaf is the fastest growing community within Clay County and is the home to two new elementary schools (OakLeaf Village Elementary, Plantation Oaks Elementary), a new middle school (OakLeaf Junior High), a new high school (OakLeaf High School), and a brand new Clay County library on the way. My name is Valerie Grayson and I am the onsite Owner and Business Manager of the School in Orange Park. I am thrilled to live in and serve this growing, family-oriented community. After watching my own daughter develop and thrive at a Goddard School, I decided to change the course of my own life’s work to be part of this quality preschool. As a parent, I understand how important it is to make the right decisions about childcare and early childhood education. My School strives to exceed your expectations while developing and nurturing your most precious gift — your child. We will make a difference in your child's life.

About Our Program
Flexibility and Hours
We offer a variety of convenient programs for parents who want the proven advantages of a high quality preschool education. Everything we do is aimed toward preparing children for success as they move into higher level learning environments, like elementary school. In addition, our full and half-day programs offer the flexibility to accommodate your busy schedule.
Our warm and nurturing atmosphere features a year round extended day schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a program designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child from six weeks to six years of age.
School Environment
Our new, state-of-the-art center has been designed to provide a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment. Your child will delight in our intimate setting with its community-oriented and charming hand painted murals of calming, rich country scenes. Our classrooms are spacious and bright, each with a large vision panel for parents and our onsite Education Director to observe the classrooms. We have plenty of outdoor space with two playgrounds that have been enhanced to both challenge and engage children at every age. Also, our building has the latest security technology and safety precautions to give you the comfort you need regarding your child’s well being.
Developmental Goals and Curriculum
The Goddard School located in Orange Park sets comprehensive developmental and curricular goals for each and every age group and classroom. Teachers develop lesson plans and structure small-group activities within “learning centers” to support each child in attaining these important goals. Children in the learning centers play, create, explore, study, test, problem solve and progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities. Teachers support parents in participating in their child’s learning by communicating with them daily about their child’s activities and growth and by providing more detailed progress reports twice a year.
Our program addresses seven key skill areas critical to early childhood development and each is individually experienced by children within our small-group learning centers. They are: 1) mathematical thinking, 2) language and literacy, 3) physical development, 4) scientific thinking, 5) social studies, 6) personal and social development, and 7) creative expression. Our School is staffed with an outstanding Educational Director and experienced Teachers who have an average tenure of 2+ years.

Our parents rave about the Daily Activity Report. It shows what activities your child participates in each day so that you can see the breadth of activity and learning and can build upon it together at home. The activities on the Daily Activity Report come from our daily lesson plans which our Teachers develop based on the specific developmental needs of the children in their classrooms. The Daily Activity Report is truly the next best thing to being there.

Directions to Our School
We are located in the heart of OakLeaf Plantation in the new OakLeaf Village Center. This is across the street from the new OakLeaf Elementary School and the site where the new Clay County Library will soon be built. Please refer to the directions below based on where you are coming from:
• OakLeaf Plantation: The new OakLeaf Village Center is kiddy-corner across from the Athletic Center in Phase 1, where OakLeaf Village Pkwy and Plantation Oaks Blvd intersect. It is directly across the street from OakLeaf Village Elementary School. Enter the Village Center at Plantation Oaks. We are in the SE corner of the Village Center. Wind around to the right for a tenth of a mile to Village Oaks and turn right. We are straight ahead at the corner of Village Oaks and Meldrum Lane.
• Argyle Forest Blvd: Take Argyle Forest to OakLeaf Village Pkwy, and turn left/right to go South (toward the Publix shopping center.) Go for 1 mile to a stoplight at Plantation Oaks Blvd and turn left in the new OakLeaf Village Center. We are in the SE corner of the Village Center. Wind around to the right for a tenth of a mile to Village Oaks and turn right. We are straight ahead at the corner of Village Oaks and Meldrum Lane.
• Branan Field Rd: Turn into the community at the stoplight for OakLeaf Plantation Parkway. Wind around through OakLeaf Plantation, turning right onto Plantation Oaks at the Clock Tower roundabout. Continue straight over the overpass into Phase I of OakLeaf Plantation. At the stoplight continue straight into the OakLeaf Village Center. We are in the SE corner of the Village Center. Wind around to the right for a tenth of a mile to Village Oaks and turn right. We are straight ahead at the corner of Village Oaks and Meldrum Lane.
