Faculty Bios

Oakville, MO

Kelly R. - Kelly R. has been our Lead Teacher in our Infant classroom, the Tiny Twinkles, since 2001. Kelly has her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Webster University, and is currently enrolled in Goddard University to complete her Child Development Associate's (CDA) degree. She was honored with the Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Association Teacher Award for 2005, and continues to enhance the Infant program with wonderful, developmentally appropriate ideas.

Charlotte B. - Charlotte has worked with the Tiny Twinkles every morning since we opened our doors in September 2000, and fills the role of Music Teacher for our School. Charlotte has a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and has helped us plan our holiday program, the Jingle Bell Ball!

Bailey K.
Ms. Bailey is our Assistant Teacher in the Tiny Twinkles classroom.  She has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood and is currently enrolled in classes to complete her Bachelor's Degree.  Ms. Bailey joined our team in 2010, and loves working with the Infants in the nursery.

Mary W. - Mary W. is our Co-Teacher in our First Steps classroom, the Waddling Wonders. She has attended Goddard University, and is continuing to take classes in Early Childhood Education. Mary joined The Goddard School® in Oakville, MO in 2004, and has developed engaging lesson plans for her classroom.

Jen D. - Ms. Jen is our Co-Teacher in the Waddling Wonders First Steps classroom. She has a degree from Florissant Valley College, and has been working with Toddlers since 2001.  Ms. Jen and Ms. Mary work together to create a home-like environment for the babies and their families.

Melissa B. - Ms. Melissa is our Co-Teacher in the Dancing Dolphins classroom. She has earned certification in Early Childhood Education from Jefferson College, and has worked with our school since 2008!  She is currently on maternity leave, and will be returning in November 2011.

Nicole P.
Ms. Nicole began working at our school in 2009, and has recently moved into the Assistant Teacher position in the Dancing Dolphins classroom.  She has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood, and is enrolled in classes to complete her Bachelor's Degree.  Ms. Nicole enjoys working closely with young toddlers, and helping them explore their world.

Danielle H.
Ms. Danielle is our Interim Co-Teacher in the Dancing Dolphins classroom, while Ms. Melissa is on maternity leave.  She is currently enrolled at Maryville University, and will begin her student-teaching in January 2012.  Ms. Danielle has been a support teacher at our school since 2007, and loves implementing all of her ideas in her new interim position!

Amanda B. - Amanda B. joined our Goddard team in Fall 2004, and loves working with our Little Angels. She has completed her Child Development Associate's degree (CDA), and has worked with two-year-olds since 2002.  Ms. Amanda makes school fun for our toddlers!

Sami B. - Sami is a Co-Teacher in our Toddler class, the Little Angels room. She began working at our school in 2002 as a support teache, and has recently graduated with her degree in Early Childhood Education.  She was the Assistant Teacher in the Over the Rainbow room from 2006-2010, and has joined the team in the Little Angels classroom in 2011.

Claire S. - Claire S. has been a teacher at our school since we opened in 2000. She has worked with two-year-olds for over twenty years, and she loves it! Claire has been recognized by St. Louis' Child Day Care Association as a "Professional Educator," and has completed her Associate's degree in Child Development through Goddard University.

Karen B. - Karen B. is our Lead Teacher in our Get Set classroom, also known as Over the Rainbow. She has her degree from Southeast Missouri State University, and is currently enrolled in Goddard University for extra child development classes. Karen joined our school in 2002, and loves providing her classroom with unique experiences, and preparing the children in her room for preschool.

Megan T.
Ms. Megan is our new Assistant Teacher in the Over the Rainbow classroom.  She has recently graduated from Southeast Missouri State University, and enjoys working with our youngest Preschool classroom.

Caroline L.
Ms. Caroline is a new Assistant Teacher in the Over the Rainbow classroom.  She has been a stay-at-home mom of 5 children, and excited to be back in a Preschool classroom!

Heather E. - Heather E. began working with The Goddard School® located in Oakville, MO in 2000, and has been the Lead Teacher in the Sunrays classroom since our School opened. She attended Maryville University and Goddard University for her Associate's degree in Child Development.  Her classroom provides balance between teacher directed activities and child directed activities, while offering the preschoolers independence.

Shannon G. - Ms. Shannon is our Assistant Teacher in the Sunrays classroom. She first started at The Goddard School® located in Oakville, MO in 2002 as a support teacher. She is currently enrolled in GSU and working towards her degree in Education.  Ms. Shannon and Ms. Heather have established a fantastic program for the preschoolers enrolled.

Sofi T. - Sofi T. has been Lead Teacher in the Bright Stars classroom since 2001. She has her degree in Elementary Education from Sopor College in Hungary, and is currently enrolled in Goddard University (GSU).  Ms. Sofi recently became a grandmother for the first time, and loves sharing stories with her Junior Kindergartners about her grand-daughter.

Amy K.
Ms. Amy is our Assistant Teacher in the Bright Stars classroom.  She has been working with Pre-Kindergartners for the past 10 years, and is excited to join The Goddard School.  Ms. Amy is the mother of three children, and has her degree in Elementary Education.

Danielle G.
Ms. Danielle is an Assistant Teacher in the Bright Stars classroom.  She began working at our school in 2007, as a support teacher, and moved into the Junior Kindergarten classroom in 2010.  Ms. Danielle loves introducing new curricular resources to the children in the classroom!

Lacy A. - Lacy is our Junior Kindergarten Teacher in the Fireflies classroom. She earned a Master's degree from Missouri Baptist University, and has been working with The Goddard School since 2008.  She is excited to work with the new curriculum in Junior Kindergarten, including the new technology of a SMARTboard in the classroom.

Linda B.
Ms. Linda is our Assistant Teacher in the Fireflies Junior Kindergarten classroom.  She has her degree in Elementary Education, and joined The Goddard School in 2009 as a substitute teacher.  She moved into the Assistant Teacher position in 2010, and loves helping this classroom prepare for kindergarten.

Katie H.
Ms. Katie joined The Goddard School in 2006 as a support teacher, and is working with the Junior Kindergarten classroom, the FirefliesShe will be assisting this classroom with curricular resources, and while Ms. Lacy is on maternity leave.  Ms. Katie begins her student teaching in January 2012, after graduating from Fontbonne University.

Sue P. - Sue is the best "chef" this side of the Mississippi, or at least the kids at our school think she is! Ms. Sue has cooked at our school since 2001, and often receives requests for her recipes!

Kelley Nelson - Kelley has been the Director of The Goddard School® located in Oakville since January 2001. The parents at the school have watched Kelley get married, and have their 3 children. Kelley has helped implement many different programs and events at The Goddard School®, and has become a friend to many parents and teachers in the meantime!

Cindy Pyatt - Cindy and her husband, David, are the Owners of The Goddard School® located in Oakville. Cindy and David opened the school in September 2000, and watched their two children graduate! The Pyatt's are active members of the Oakville community and consistently provide events at The Goddard School® to benefit everyone in the area!
