Welcome to The Goddard School® for Early Childhood Development located in Oakville, Missouri!
Since opening in 2000, our School has been lucky enough to receive several prestigious awards, and are members of various organizations in the Oakville Community.

In addition to the awards we have been honored with, our School has also participated in a monthly "helping hand" activity. From collecting boxes of school supplies to sponsoring a family during the holidays, our School has shown tremendous philanthropic spirit. This year, we have been working with our Parent Organization to help "Wishes Come True." Our School granted little wishes to people within our community during the 2009 holiday season, and has donated 20% of our annual Trivia Night and Silent Auction to the Make a Wish Foundation®. This past year, we also collected items for the victims of the Haiti earthquake and Nashville floods and books and pajamas for children in foster care. We also raised money to support our Owner, Director and teachers walking in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
We have been extremely lucky to have exceptional teachers as faculty members, and have been able to retain their services. Each classroom, beginning with our infant rooms, is led by a degreed teacher who assesses their classroom's learning needs based upon The Goddard School's age-appropriate Developmental Guidelines and creates lesson plans that are full of fantastic activities. The Developmental Guidelines provide the teachers a framework around the core learning needs and goals, yet allows the teachers to take ownership of the learning process and use their creativity. Our proven curriculum, the FLEX Learning Program, has been accredited for excellence in learning by CITA / AdvancED, the world's largest and most selective accreditation organization, an achievement no other Missouri preschool other than The Goddard Schools can claim. We are the best of the best!
At The Goddard School located in Oakville, we believe it is imperative to introduce your child to various enrichment activities. That is why, at no additional cost to you, all students participate in enrichment classes each day taught by dedicated teachers. Students will learn Spanish, experience the joys of physical fitness and yoga and develop rhythm and tempo from our Music Preludes program. We have introduced Everyday Math and the Newbridge Science curriculum into our preschool classrooms, as well as computer skills.
It is also very important for your child's school to become an extension of your family. We encourage our families to be active participants in their child's learning experiences. We offer many opportunities throughout the year for parents, grandparents or special family members to visit our School for special events. From our music concerts to Homecoming, from special lunches to after-school programs, you will get to meet other families and be a part of our special community.
Our school has been open since September 2000, and has grown into a "home away from home" for our children and families. Our warm and loving atmosphere features an extended day program designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of children from six weeks to six-years-old. We also offer a summer program for children up to age eight, and an afternoon kindergarten enrichment program.
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM year-round, offering a variety of programs convenient for parents who want the proven advantages of a high quality preschool education for their children.
