Welcome to The Goddard School® located in O’Fallon, St. Charles County’s premiere early learning program for Infants through Kindergarten.  From the moment you walk into the Big Top hearing the festive music, you will know our award-winning program is all about the children.

Our proven curriculum, the FLEX Learning Program, has been accredited for excellence in learning by CITA/AdvancED, the world’s largest and most selective accreditation organization, an achievement no other Missouri preschool other than Goddard Schools can claim. We also are repeat recipients of the highest award granted by Goddard Systems, Inc., the Circle of Excellence award which honors a handful of Goddard Schools as demonstrating the highest level of quality and performance among more than 350 Goddard Schools across the country. We are blessed to have exceptional teachers who believe in the Goddard way. Every classroom, beginning with our one-year-old room, is led by a degreed teacher who assesses their classroom’s learning needs based upon The Goddard School’s age-appropriate Developmental Guidelines and creates lessons plans that are full of fun play activities. The Developmental Guidelines provide the teachers a framework around the core learning needs and goals, yet allow the teachers to take ownership of the learning process and be creative. This process of lesson plan development creates a unique bond between the teacher and child since the teacher has ownership of the learning process and the child has the eagerness to play and learn.

Our educational philosophy is truly about the whole child and reaches far beyond just certain aspects of the child’s learning needs. For example, we do not focus solely in one area, such as literacy and language arts. What we do is use language arts as a process tool to explore all areas of learning from science to art, from dramatic play to mathematics. This philosophy begins in our Infant program and continues until completion of our Kindergarten program.

At The Goddard School located in O’Fallon, we also believe that it is imperative to introduce your child to various enrichment activities. That is why, at no additional cost to you, all students participate in enrichment classes each day, taught by dedicated teachers. Students learn Spanish, the joys of physical fitness and yoga, math and science skills through cooking, and computer / keyboarding skills. Original works of art are proudly displayed through our art history and world culture classes, and our daily music class is showcased in our semi-annual Student Musical Performance.

Special is the key term to describe our existing families that make up our Goddard family. We encourage our families to be active participants in their child’s learning experience. That is why we offer several opportunities throughout the year for parents, grand parents, or special family members to come visit the school for special events. From music concerts to Science Night, from our themed dance to Trunk or Treat, you will get to meet other families and be a part of our special community.

The last piece of the puzzle that makes us so special is our facility. The Goddard School located in O’Fallon is situated in the quiet neighborhood of WingHaven, far removed from all the traffic and noise of daily life. With the hawks flying overhead and the large fields next door, children have the opportunity to play outside in a comfortable environment. When the weather does not cooperate, we get to play in our 1,200 square foot gymnasium. Our gym is not a multi-purpose room being passed off as a gym. It is the favorite spot for our students and is equipped with rock climbing walls, cushioned flooring, a disco ball, and plenty of physical education equipment.
