Paul - We'd like to welcome you to The Goddard School® located in North Aurora. Paul and his wife, Meredith, opened this School because they believe that The Goddard School has an unsurpassed reputation in the field of early childhood education. They are proud that their son is a student in the School. Paul is confident that you will enjoy your association with The Goddard School located in North Aurora. Outside of the School, Paul enjoys spending time with Meredith and their son. He also enjoys baseball, football, cooking and spending time outdoors.

Linda - My Name is Linda and I am the Education Director. I come to Goddard with over 20 years of experience as a Teacher and Director of early childhood programs. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Miami University and in May of ’05 received my Master’s degree in Child Development from Erikson Institute in Chicago. It was a great love for children that guided me into education after college. It is a strong belief in the life-long benefits of early learning experiences and learning through play that prompted me to pursue this position. I look forward to getting to know each of you.

Kim - Kim is currently the Lead Teacher in our Special Delivery classroom. She has an Associate's degree from Waubonsee Community College and plans to attend Northern Illinois University. Her first job was at Chuck E. Cheese where she worked for seven years and continues to work on the weekends. She has also worked at Kindercare in Geneva where she was in the two’s room and then became the lead teacher in the young 3’s.

Jenny - Ms. Jenny is our First Steps Teacher working with our 12 to 18 month old children. She has been working in childcare for over ten years and continues to take classes in Early Childhood Education.

Nicole - Nicole is a Teacher in our Enchanting Elephants classroom! She joined Goddard in January 2008 and has loved every minute of it. Her experience comes from teaching the same age group at two other schools, along with being in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program and babysitting. Nicole is currently enrolled at Waubonsee Community College and will soon transfer to NIU to finish a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Art. "I look forward to getting to better know you and your family," adds Nicole.

Stephanie - Ms. Stephanie is the teacher in our Get Set classroom. She originally joined our team as a substitute teacher during the summer of 2008. Stephanie graduated from Western Illinois University with a teaching certificate in Special Education and Elementary Education. She had great student teaching experiences at Elgin High School and Highland Elementary in Elgin, but is now very excited to be teaching the wonderful children at The Goddard School.

Kristy - Ms. Kristy teaches three year old children in our preschool program. She joined our school in the summer of 2009. Kristy has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education.

Jenny K. - Ms. Jenny is teaches four year old children in our preschool program. She joined our school in December 2008 and has been working in Early Childhood Education for more than twelve years. Jenny has an Associate's degree and Early Childhood Certificate from Harper College.

Lisa - Lisa is a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher and Assistant Director at The Goddard School® located in North Aurora. She attended the College of DuPage where she received an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. Lisa saw The Goddard School® located in North Aurora being built and after doing some research, discovered that she really liked our philosophy of nurturing and learning going hand in hand. She also likes the play-based program that helps children learn and develops the whole child. "I am looking forward to getting to know you and your children," adds Lisa.

Kara - Ms. Kara is our Kindergarten Teacher for the 2009-2010 school year! She has a passion for working with children. She believes that every child has the right and ability to learn to their full potential. She recently obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. Along with her degree she received a Letter of Approval for Special Education.

Simone - Ms. Simone spends her time at Goddard in many of our rooms. She works with most ages ranging from infants to preschool. She began working at The Goddard School® located in North Aurora in late January 2008. She graduated from West Aurora High School and is finishing up an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education at Waubonsee Community College. She plans to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Education and would eventually like to become either a first grade teacher or a preschool teacher.

Ana - Ana is our Kitchen Manager at The Goddard School®.

Jennifer

Jennifer is the Young Toddler Teacher in the Kind Kangaroo room.  She graduated from Waubonsee Community College with an Associate's degree. She is active in her church and on their global missions team. Jennifer travels to Nicaragua at least twice a year with her church.

Ashley - Ashley is a teacher in our three year old Preschool room. She graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor's degree in Communication. She has been inspired to further her education and pursue a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education.

Kelli - Kelli is an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool room. She attends Waubonsee Community College and will be going to Aurora University to pursue a degree in Elementary Education.  She joined the school in April 2011 and enjoys working with all age groups.

Aubrey - Aubrey is an Assistant Teacher with our Pre-K age children.  She joined the school in February 2010 and has enjoyed working with our many wonderful children. 

Edith     Ms. Edith is one of our teachers that works in many different rooms.  She graduated from National Louis University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  She has five years of experience working with children.

Liz Ms. Liz is an assistant teacher in our Young Toddler classroom. She is currently enrolled at Rasmussen College working on her Early Childhood Education Associate's degree. 

Katie Katie is a Teacher in our Loving Lions four year old preschool room.
