The Goddard School® prides ourselves on the quality of our teachers.  Goddard Systems University (GSU) supports the ongoing training of our teachers by providing regional classes each quarter as well as on-site training by corporate representatives. GSU training has been approved as an authorized provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).  GSU's exclusive training series coaches Goddard School teachers in the areas of health and safety, curriculum, developmental guidelines and enrichment programs; all focused on providing excellent care to infants through school-age children.  GSU also regularly informs teachers about early childhood development trends and current research.

Mr. Jarrod Baer, On-site Owner
Hello, my name is Jarrod Baer and I am the on-site owner of The Goddard School® located on Peachtree Parkway in Norcross, GA. My wife and I both graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology where I received a Bachelor's degree in Management. We have two daughters that both attended The Goddard School in Norcross from the time they were infants all the way through Pre-K graduation. Before purchasing the school in 2010, I worked in the Information Technology industry for 15 years. As a parent at the school for eight years, I was able to see firsthand the wonderful effect The Goddard School had on my two daughters. I decided to purchase the school and it has been a wonderful experience! Our mission is to deliver the highest-quality childcare and developmental education while building and maintaining relationships and trust with our parents. Ms. Pam, Director
A big part of the success of any great school depends on the dedication of the Director. Ms. Pam has shown this to be true through her tireless efforts and wonderful enthusiasm. After serving as Assistant Director for seven years, Ms. Pam was promoted to Director in 2010. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and she also has her CDA teacher credential.  Ms. Pam applies her strong family morals in all that she does. She believes in treating her parents with courtesy and understanding and she showers her Goddard School children with love, attention, and respect.

Ms. Sharon, Assistant Director
Ms. Sharon joined us in 2010 and brought along 20 years of childcare experience. She has her CDA teacher credential and has spent many years teaching in classrooms ranging from the Infant room up through the Pre-K room. She also previously served as an Assistant Director for several years at another preschool. Ms. Sharon brings with her an abundance of knowledge, and she really enjoys working with children of all ages. She also enjoys interacting with our Goddard School parents and is always anxious to lend a helping hand. Ms. Sharon believes that our children always come first!

Ms. Lisa R.

As the pillar of our Infant Room, Ms. Lisa has been with The Goddard School located in Norcross since it opened in 2000. Having worked in childcare for over 20 years, Ms. Lisa acquired her CDA teaching credential with The Goddard School several years ago. The love and nurturing of the infants is her sole objective as she comes in to work each day. "I love to watch the babies grow up and get ready for the big world!" says Ms. Lisa.

Ms. Cathi
Ms. Cathi is the lead teacher in our First Steps class and brings over 20 years of experience with her.  She combines a calm, loving environment with a fun and educational curriculum to get the most out of our young toddlers. She also enjoys interacting with the parents and bragging about what their children accomplished each day!

Ms. Bridgette Ms. Bridgette relishes her role as the lead teacher in our Toddler room.  She has five years of experience and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's in education.  She adores her little children and understands that everything they do at this age is an opportunity for them to learn.  She believes that toddlers crave guidance and knowledge, and she strives to provide them with all of the tools and attention they need to build a true love of learning.

Ms. Alice
As the lead teacher in our two-year-old Get Set room, Ms. Alice believes that the way to a child's heart is with patience and love! She pledges to give your child a secure, loving experience in the classroom while encouraging growth and socialization. If you feel something needs to be adjusted, she will be your partner to accomplish the change. Ms. Alice is pursing her CDA teaching credential and she sees children as her true passion.  This is why she is a very important part of the Goddard team.

Ms. Felicia
Ms. Felicia uses her extensive childcare experience every day as the lead teacher of our Preschool 1 class.  She believes that during this stage of a child's development, everything they do is an opportunity for them to learn.  She provides a warm, nurturing environment that allows her little ones to flourish and she enjoys the challenge of teaching her young students the early stages of language arts and math.

Ms. Lina As the lead teacher, Ms. Lina is a big part of our success in our Preschool 2 class. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in art education and has over five years of teaching experience.  She adores working with children and helping them learn something new every day.  She uses her creativity to engage her young learners through art and song and prides herself on helping get them ready for our challenging private Pre-K class.

Ms. Mary
With confidence and assurance, Ms. Mary has the gift of teaching. She is the lead teacher in our Pre-K room and she acquired her CDA teaching certificate several years ago. She excels at preparing her Goddard School children for kindergarten and challenges each of her students to reach their potential. Ms. Mary believes in incorporating character-building activities into lessons or daily class experiences.

Ms. Christy
  Watch out for all the amazing art in Ms. Christy's class! With a love for teaching and nurturing, your children will flourish with her. Ms. Christy is a dynamic and creative teacher in our Pre-K and After-School rooms and a true favorite of many of our students. Her creative lesson plans and passion for her job show through every day.

Ms. Claudia

Ms. Claudia brightens our Preschool 1 room with an abundance of enthusiasm and caring. She relies on her considerable experience to balance fun and learning by giving individualized attention to each and every student. Ms. Claudia's creativity, passion for making a difference, and joyful personality fill her room.

Ms. Shahnaz
As a teacher in our Get Set room, Ms. Shanaz enjoys working with each child individually to make sure that developmental goals are achieved. Ms. Shanaz strives to bring out the best in each child while making each of them feel special in their own way.

Ms. Dina
Ms. Dina brings her immense loving and nurturing qualities to our Infant room. She has a true passion for caring for babies and it shows. She helps the infants explore sensory development with fun, creative art projects and encourages language development through sign language.  Ms. Dina finds it very rewarding to have a part in shaping young lives.

Ms. Lana
Ms. Lana is a wonderful assistant teacher in our Preschool 2 class.  She loves working with children and participating in their development.  She has an Associate's degree in nursing which is obvious based on the way she cares for and nurtures her children.  She prides herself on doing her part to make sure her young children are prepared for our challenging Pre-K room.

Ms. Laya
Ms. Laya is an integral part of our fabulous Pre-K room.  She uses her 25+ years of childcare experience to give her "little angels" the best possible education and care.  She prides herself on preparing her young children for their upcoming Kindergarten experience.  She brings an immense love for children and a heart of gold to the Pre-K classroom!

Ms. Nasreen
For several years, Ms Nasreen has been a solid contributor to our Infant Room.  She brings a combination of loving care and multi-tasking to enhance the room.  She creates a loving, calm classroom where infants feel free to explore and learn. 

Ms. Lisa M.
Ms. Lisa is a big part of our success in our First Steps class.  She uses her 5+ years of experience and her loving nature to make each of her young toddler's day as comfortable, fun and rewarding as possible! 

Ms. Teresa
Ms. Teresa is a wonderful asset to our Toddler Room.  Her 5+ years of experience have taught her that you can make a big difference in a child's life if you provide a loving, nurturing environment that encourages a love of learning.  She also uses her Spanish-speaking skills to teach our children the basics of learning a second language.

Ms. Jessie Ms. Jessie brings over six years of experience with her to our Get Set room.  She loves one-on-one interaction with her wonderful two-year-olds and uses her creativity and enthusiasm to brighten their day.  She looks forward each day to teaching her young learners something new!

Ms. Joey Ms. Joey has been with us for over three years and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.  In her time at Goddard, she has worked with children of all ages and excels in whichever room she is in.  She enjoys watching her young children learn and grow through singing and art and believes that the key to creating a love of learning is to make it fun for the children.

Ms. Jeannie Ms. Jeannie uses her considerable experience to help make our Toddler room the best it can be.  Our young children truly respond to her passion and positive outlook.  She believes that it is a teacher's responsibility to provide the best care and learning opportunities possible for each child each day, and she is thrilled to be involved in their lives at such an important time in their development.

Ms. Belinda Ms. Belinda has over four years of experience and is currently pursing her Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.  During her time at Goddard, she has worked with children of all ages and brings enthusiasm and passion to her classroom.  She feels honored to be involved in the development of our young learners.

Ms. Keyanna Ms. Keyanna truly enjoys assisting in our Toddler class.  She understands the tremendous amount of knowledge that children at this age can absorb and challenges herself to teach them new things every day.  She strives to make the classroom a loving, nurturing environment that encourages growth and socialization.
