Dona & Tim Lawler - are the owners of The Goddard Schools® located in Naperville. Dona received a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Illinois and previously worked as an accountant. Tim has a Bachelor's degree from Yale and a Law degree from the University of Illinois. He has practiced business law for many years. Dona and Tim have experienced so much in raising their three daughters and enjoy making a difference in the lives of young children.
Gail Shelton - is the Director of our school. She has over ten years' experience as a director in a preschool setting. Gail earned a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies from Northern Illinois University and also earned a Master's degree in Early Childhood from Concordia University. She is committed to supporting our team of teachers in their work and providing a fun and nurturing learning environment for the children.
Valerie Paulsen - is our Director of Operations. She is a native Texan who directed a large private preschool in Houston for five years prior to moving to our area. Valerie is responsible for a variety of front office matters and enjoys interacting with children and families on a daily basis.
Jennifer - teaches in our Pre-K classroom. Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She enjoys using her experience in helping your child learn and grow.
Sandy - teaches in our Preschool program. Sandy has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She has been active in the early childhood field for almost twenty-five years as both a teacher and center director. Sandy will create an outstanding learning environment for your child.
Jessica - teaches in our Toddler program. Jessica earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Eastern Illinois University. Jessica has been teaching children for three years and enjoys implementing Goddard's FLEX Learning Program at our school.
Leslie - teaches in our Get Set classroom. Leslie comes to us with several years teaching experience and has a Bachelor's degree from Columbia College. She is currently attending Waubonsee College to obtain an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Development.
Michelle - teaches in our First Steps room. Michelle graduated from Elmhurst College with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with an art minor. She has a passion for young children and is excited to work with the children at The Goddard School.
Saba - teaches in our Preschool program. Saba graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University in Elementary Education. She is enthusiastic and loves working with children.
Karli - teaches in our Get Set program. She has a Bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University in Early Childhood Education. Karli loves teaching and working with children.
Lauren - teaches in our Pre-K room. Lauren received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University with endorsements in Reading, Language Arts and Social Science. She has several years of experience working with children and is excited to be working with the children at The Goddard School.
Ashley C. - teaches in our Preschool program. Ashley graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education approval. Ashley has many years of experience working with young children and has been a swim instructor for several years.
Marta - is our cook and an assistant teacher. Marta comes to us with many years of experience working with young children and cooking. She received an Associate's degree in Early Childhood from Waubonsee Community College.
Sushma - teaches in our infant and toddler rooms. Sushma earned an Associate's degree in Psychology and Education and has twelve years of experience in early childhood working with infants and toddlers.
Ashley J. - teaches in several classrooms and is currently working on a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at North Central College in Naperville. Ashley is excited to be working with the children at our school.
Erica - teaches in our First Steps program and has been working with children for over ten years. Erica is currently attending College of DuPage and completing an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education.

Allyson - teaches in several classrooms. Allyson is currently a student at Elmhurst College, majoring in Early Childhood Education with an Art minor and a Special Education endorsement.
Morgan teaches in our Pre-Toddler program. She is currently working on her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Aurora University. Morgan enjoys teaching dance in her spare time.
Tamara teaches in our Preschool program. She has a Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. Tamara enjoys reading historical fiction.
Ashley P. teaches in several classrooms and is completing her Bachelor's degree with a dual major in Elementary and Special Education from the University of West Florida.
Tracy teaches in our Before and After School program. Tracy earned her Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Illinois State University.
Elizabeth teaches in our Toddler program. She studied Psychology and Family Science at Eastern Illinois University and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Trinity Christian College.
