Welcome to The Goddard School® located at 41755 Juniper Street, Murrieta, California! We are pleased to announce that we are now open! Please come and visit our beautiful new School and learn about our wonderful programs! We are still enrolling and would love to have your child join the Goddard family.
The Goddard School® is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. year round, offering a variety of programs convenient for parents who want the proven advantages of a high quality preschool education for their children. Our School provides developmentally appropriate programs for children six weeks to six years of age with activities to meet each child’s individual needs and flexibility to accommodate each family's busy schedule. We nurture children in a loving and safe environment and provide experiences that will enhance their development and growth.
The curriculum at our School includes cognitive skills, math, science, social science, motor skills, computer skills, creative art and self-help skills. Our School's faculty consists of teachers with degrees in Early Childhood Development who provide children with carefully planned educational and developmental programs that meet the needs of the "whole" child.
We will implement various resources into our daily curriculum with children from our Infant through Pre-K program. A variety of curricular resources are introduced throughout your child's learning day, including:
The Goddard Guide to Getting Along™: This program fosters acquisition of skills including friendship, compassion, cooperation and kindness. Activities provide opportunities for skill building beginning at 18 months of age.
Spanish by Trampoline™: The children will learn new words in Spanish in their class curriculum every day.
Sign Language: American Sign Language is offered to infants and toddlers as a manual form of communication through the use of songs, games, stories and play.
Areas of growth and development are highlighted on our daily lesson plans, which our faculty brings to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.
Communication
Daily: For the parents of Goddard children, we offer daily communication with Daily Activity Reports for all ages including Special Events, Curriculum Communication and Lesson Plans.
Monthly: Newsletters and notices of upcoming Goddard events.
Semi-Annual: Parent/Teacher Conferences with Student Portfolio Checklists to monitor each child's progress.
Our beautiful building has been planned to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. Our interior doors are equipped with fingersafe® door hinge guards that prevent children's fingers from being pinched or crushed at the hinged end of doors. All corners are equipped with "corner guards" to prevent injuries. Two separate playgrounds have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age, and are equipped with safe and fun-filled equipment, a unique Pour and Play® surface to act as a safe fall zone for the children. A gate alarms encloses both areas of the playground. Our School is also protected by a state of the art closed circuit TV surveillance system.
