Amy McMillan, Owner - Amy has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has 19 years of experience working in this field. She has been with The Goddard School® since 2001 starting out as Director of Education and becoming an Owner in 2006. Amy truly enjoys being an on-site owner and feels having on-site owners is what makes The Goddard Schools stand out among other preschools. She truly believes in the Goddard program and is proud to be a Goddard Owner and a Goddard Parent!
Debbie Nguyen, Director of Education - Debbie has been with The Goddard School® since its opening 13 years ago! She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has 15 years experience in this field. She started with The Goddard School as our Older Preschool Teacher and was promoted to Director of Education in 2005. Debbie's favorite thing about working at The Goddard School is "watching the children grow, learn and interact with one another." Debbie is the proud mom of three girls, all of whom have attended The Goddard School and enjoy it as much as she does!
Lynne Warrington, Assistant Director - Lynne began working at The Goddard School when the doors opened 13 years ago! She was our First Steps Teacher for nine years and was promoted to Assistant Director this past year. Lynne has 22 years of experience working with children and is the proud mom of three! Lynne says she truly enjoys having a career where she has the opportunity to nurture young children and watch them grow and explore the world around them!
OUR INFANT TEAM: The teachers in our Infant rooms have a combined 49 years of teaching experience! These ladies provide a warm, nurturing environment and give the babies lots of love and attention. There are lots of stimulating activities to help in all areas of each baby's development. Both of our Lead Infant Teachers are great resources for Moms and Dads, especially "first-timers"!
OUR PRE-TODDLER TEAM Our Pre-Toddler teachers have a combined 11 years of teaching experience. They are a warm, nurturing and energetic team, and they sure keep our Pre-Toddlers busy! There is always something fun and exciting going on in this classroom. Whether it's reading stories, dancing, painting or cooking, it's always a good time for all!
OUR TODDLER & GET SET TEAM The faculty who teach and care for our two-year-old children have a combined 46 years of experience! They are all very nurturing, patient and really enjoy working with this age group. Two-year-olds can be challenging at times, but our teachers not only face the challenges, they do it with smiles on their faces. They provide a stimulating environment and keep the children very busy. They even get them potty trained, too!
OUR PRESCHOOL TEAM Our Preschool Teachers have a combined 24 years of teaching experience! They create a stimulating learning environment for the children with a variety of center-based learning activities in the different learning areas...Cognitive Skills, Language Arts, Science, Social Science, Music, Art and Computer. They work on number and letter recognition and really help prepare them for Pre-KIndergarten. These teachers make learning fun for the children...and they have fun teaching them!
OUR PRE-KINDERGARTEN TEAM Our Pre-K Teachers have a combined 31 years of teaching experience! They create a fun and structured learning environment that prepares the children for their transition to Kindergarten. They provide a wide range of learning activities including journal writing, math, science, art, music and computers. They also utilize the computer-based CPAA (Children's Progress Academic Assessment) Program that assesses the children's progress in the different learning areas. This helps the teachers to really see where each child is at academically and helps them to focus on the needs of each individual child. These teachers ove to prepare the children for Kindergarten, but are always sad to see them go!
OUR AFTER-SCHOOL TEAM Our School-Age Teachers have a combined 16 years of experience working with children! They are fun, energetic and enjoy doing a wide range of activities with the children. They provide various art, science, cooking, sport, music, writing and computer activities for the children. They will even help the children with their homework, too!
