In conjunction with the World Wildlife Federation's Earth Hour, our school will turn off non-essential lighting for one hour. Children will also participate in a recycled new paper fashion show and recycled materials art exploration.

Mrs. Lisa ~ On-site Owner - Mrs. Lisa has been a registered nurse for the past twenty-four years. She has extensive experience in high risk neonatal and obstetrics and has also been a childbirth educator.

Mrs. Jennifer ~ Education Director - A benefit that sets The Goddard School® apart from other early childhood programs is a dual management system. The Goddard School® has both an on-site Owner and an Education Director. Jennifer is our Education Director and has over twelve years of experience as an educator in the field of Early Childhood Development and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies / Child Development.

Ms. Joy ~ Assistant Director - Ms. Joy has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio. Her background includes over six years of experience teaching preschool and pre-kindergarten. Ms. Shannon ~ Co- Lead Infant Teacher (Bashful Bunnies) - Ms. Shannon loves caring for our little ones and is excited to be a part of the teaching team at The Goddard School. Shannon has her Bachelor's degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. She believes that infants need to be given opportunities to learn and grow in an environment that is concentrated on sensory stimulation and language development.

Ms. Sherry ~ Assistant Infant Teacher (Bashful Bunnies) - Ms. Sherry graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a degree in Computer Information Systems. After an unsatisfying career in computer programming, Sherry made a move that she says she will never regret... a career working with children. She is extremely grateful to be a part of the Goddard family, both as a teacher and parent, and looks forward to working with all of your wonderful children! Ms. Michelle W. ~ Co-Lead Infant Teacher (Bashful Bunnies) - Ms. Michelle is an Assistant Teacher in our Bashful Bunnies classroom. She is very excited to be a part of Goddard's teaching team! Michelle has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Baldwin Wallace College. Her background includes experience leading the nursery at her church as well as several children's groups. Working with children is her passion. She believes that teaching is a powerful profession and is proud to be a part of it. "I feel my past experiences will help me to be successful in a teaching role and as a partner in your child's education," adds Michelle. Goddard University Courses: Parent Partnerships

Ms. Molly ~ Lead First Steps Teacher (Lively Ladybugs) - Ms. Molly is the Lead Teacher in our Infant room. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Ohio University. She is very excited to be a part of the teaching team at The Goddard School. “The possibilities for learning are endless when working with young children; for both the teacher and child,” adds Molly. Ms. Alison ~ Assistant First Steps Teacher (Lively Ladybugs) - Ms. Alison is very excited to join our teaching team at The Goddard School. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and previously worked as a Cognitive Skills Trainer for a tutoring company. She has a passion for children and wants her students to be taught with enthusiasm! Goddard University Courses: Parent Partnerships

Mrs. Amber W. ~ Lead Toddler Teacher (Busy Bees) - Mrs. Amber was inspired to be a teacher at a young age and has been determined to do so. She graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Amber has worked as a teacher’s aide at a childcare center in the “two’s” room. She has worked in the Medina City Schools as a daily substitute, a long term substitute for first grade and a building substitute. Her background also includes twelve years experience as a dance teacher working with students from the ages of three to seventeen years. She is excited for the great experience of working with the toddler age group. "Their curiosity leads to learning through play and exploration - it’s a pleasure watching them grow into life long learners," adds Amber.

Mrs. Judy ~ Assistant Toddler Teacher (Busy Bees) - Mrs. Judy is very excited to be a part of The Goddard School family. She has been working with children for ten years and cannot imagine doing anything else. Judy finds working with children very rewarding. She has worked with all ages including infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children. "Children love to explore and learn and I really enjoy working with them. They are sponges and their curiosity is endless," adds Judy. When teachers like Judy provide children with meaningful experiences, the learning comes naturally! Judy looks forward to meeting you. Mrs. Holly ~ Co-Lead Jr. Preschool Teacher (Daring Dragonflies) - Mrs. Holly earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Mount Union College and is working on completing her Intervention Specialist license. Her experience includes managing toddler and preschool classrooms in an early childhood education setting. She loves working with both of these age groups and is excited that her position at The Goddard School allows her to interact with all of the children at the school. She looks forward to meeting you and your child. “I love watching children grow, gain independence and to see their personalities develop,” adds Holly. Ms. Sarah ~ Co-Lead Jr. Preschool Teacher (Daring Dragonflies) - Miss Sarah graduated from Wittenberg University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a concentration as an Intervention Specialist. She also has a minor in Spanish. Sarah loves to learn about other cultures, which led her to study in Quito, Ecuador. She hopes to continue learning the Spanish language as well as pursue her interest in Sign Language. "I am very excited to be a co-teacher in the Daring Dragonflies classroom at The Goddard School," adds Sarah.

Ms. Melissa ~ Co- Lead Preschool Teacher (Happy Hummingbirds) - Ms. Melissa graduated from Wadsworth High School with a Teacher’s Aide certificate and earned an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Akron. Her background includes over twelve years of experience working with children ranging in age from birth to five years. “I look forward to meeting you and your child,” adds Melissa. Ms. April ~ Assistant Preschool Teacher (Happy Hummingbirds) - Miss April has earned her Child Development Associate Preschool Endorsement. She loves working with preschool aged children. She enjoys seeing the excitement on the children's faces as the discover and learn something new. April is very excited to be a part of the teaching team at The Goddard School®. Knowing that she is helping children establish a foundation for learning while shaping their self-esteem is personally rewarding to her. “I believe that children are curious learners and when given tools and opportunities they can develop a life long love of learning,” adds April.

Mrs. Amanda ~Co- Lead Preschool 2 Teacher (Climbing Caterpillars) - Mrs. Amanda is a Co-Lead Teacher in our Climbing Caterpillars classroom. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education at Slippery Rock University. She enjoys teaching children and loves to see the look on their face when they learn or accomplish something new. “I am excited to be a part of the teaching team at The Goddard School,” adds Amanda. Ms. Annie~ Co-Lead Preschool 2 Teacher (Climbing Caterpillars) - Ms. Annie is a Co-Lead Teacher in our Climbing Caterpillars classroom. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Bowling Green University. She loves working with young children and enjoys helping them develop a sense of accomplishment and pride as the learn and grow. “Each day is precious in the life of a child and should be celebrated,” adds Annie.

Mrs. Kelly ~ Co-Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher (Breezy Butterflies) - Mrs. Kelly graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Her background includes experience teaching pre-kindergarten in Wooster for over a year. She is very excited to join the fantastic faculty at The Goddard School. Kelly finds teaching young children to be a very rewarding career. She gets personal satisfaction from seeing children become successful and knowing that she contributed to making that difference in their lives. “I look forward to meeting you and your child,” adds Kelly. Mrs. Michelle ~ Assistant Pre-Kindergarten Teacher (Breezy Butterflies) - Mrs. Michelle’s background includes over sixteen years of experience working with children including two years as a teacher at a Goddard School located in the Atlanta, Georgia area. She enjoys working with children and loves to watch them learn and grow. Michelle believes that teaching is her true calling and she is very excited to join the fantastic faculty at The Goddard School® located in Medina. “I am looking forward to teaching your children,” adds Michelle. Ms. Tracy H. ~ Co-Lead Advanced Pre-K Teacher (Friendly Frogs) - Ms. Tracy is the Co-Lead Teacher in our Friendly Frogs classroom and is excited to be a part of the teaching team at The Goddard School. She has an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has seven years of experience working with children of all age groups. Tracy feels that teachers play an integral part in children's development and she loves being a part of each child’s day. “I can’t wait to meet you and your child,” adds Tracy. Mrs. Tracy I. ~ Lead Kindergarten Teacher (Friendly Frogs) - Mrs. Tracy always knew she wanted to be a teacher and earned a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. Her background includes four years of experience teaching Kindergarten and working as a Lead Teacher for Head Start as well as operating her own home daycare business. “I am so excited to be a part of The Goddard School®,” adds Tracy. Ms. Amber N. ~ Floater - Ms. Amber is a graduate of Medina High School and is currently a student at The University of Akron where she is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. She first discovered her true passion for working with children when she volunteered for a Christian Bible School program. After that experience, she was determined to pursue a career in education. “I get an unexplainable, satisfying feeling knowing that I have the capability to make a difference in the life of a child,” adds Amber. Ms. Kristina ~ Floater - Ms. Kristina is a Floating Assistant at The Goddard School®! She is a student at Mount Union pursuing a degree in Education. Kristina has been assisting at our school in many capacities and loves interacting with the children. Throughout high school she was very actively involved in community service and led frequent blood drives at her school and attended several leadership conferences. She was a member of Student Council and Color Guard. "I look forward to helping our teaching team and meeting all the children and their families," adds Kristina.

Ms. Heather ~ Floater - Ms. Heather is a Floating Assistant at The Goddard School! She is a graduate of the George Mason University with a degree in Psychology. She is a parent of two boys which has helped her mold a love for young children. Heather spends time in all of our classrooms and enjoys being able to be a part of our students lives. "Amazing things are happening daily at The Goddard School! I am glad to be a part of the learning that takes place here," adds Heather.

Ms. Laura~ Floater - Ms. Laura is a Floating Assistant at The Goddard School! She is a graduate of the University of Akron with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has had experience as a Title I Reading Tutor at a local elementary school and she enjoys working with young children. Laura spends time in all of our classrooms and likes being able to play a role in the lives of all of our students. "I am looking forward to meeting you and your child. I am excited to be a part of a school where having fun while learning is the educational focus," adds Laura.
