John R. Coe, Jr., Owner - In 1999, John open The Goddard School® located in Medford. Through hard work and dedication, The Goddard School's family grew. John thanks his wonderful, experienced, educated and loving faculty! John and his wife, Rosemarie, have been married for over 35 years. They have three wonderful children and several fabulous granddaughters. John's educational background includes obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Penn State University. For 25 years, John worked on Wall Street in New York. John, a member of the U.S. Army, was stationed in Germany from 1970 to 1972. John also loves to read and really enjoys traveling!
S. Renee Powell,
Director - Renee has always had a passion for children. With this love, she obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Education from West Chester University. Her work experience includes substitute teaching in public schools and at a textbook publishing company--but she missed the children! So in 1994, Renee began her preschool life at the Burlington County Y. When The Goddard School located in Westampton was opening, she knew she needed to work there. In 1999, she accepted the role of Director at The Goddard School located in Medford. Renee enjoys seeing the children everyday and being a part of a program that provides not only a great curriculum, but a wonderful learning environment. Renee and her husband enjoy watching their two children grow each day at The Goddard School.
Jaime S., Assistant Director and Lead Teacher, Get Set - Jaime graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Child and Adolescent Psychology and then joined The Goddard School family. Jaime began her career as an assistant teacher in the Toddler room, and was promoted to lead teacher one year later, where she taught for four years. Jaime was then promoted to the position of lead teacher in the Get Set class. In 2006, she was promoted to Assistant Director. Jaime is a mother of two children of her own, and enjoys seeing them grow each day at school. Jaime considers The Goddard School as her second family, and cherishes everyday she has with people who truly care about each other.
Kim B., Assistant Director and Lead Teacher, First Steps - Kim has always loved being around children. After high school, she explored various occupations, including being a Field Consultant for the Subway Development Corporation, but soon realized she would not be happy until she was working with children. Kim began her career at The Goddard School in 2003, and now can’t imagine spending her time anywhere else. She is currently the lead teacher in the First Steps classroom and absolutely loves it--there is never a dull moment in the First Steps class. Kim and her husband have two wonderful little girls, and another baby girl on the way! Kim is currently currently working on completing her Associate's degree.
Sammy M., Assistant Director and Lead Teacher, Preschool 1 - Sammy joined the The Goddard School family 2008 and just loves it here! She is currently working with the younger three-year-old children in the Preschool 1 room and they are having lots of fun! Sammy previously worked at The Goddard School located in Westampton for seven years as a lead teacher in the Infant and Preschool rooms, as well as a Co-Director. She has an Associate's degree in Education and has always been fascinated with babies and children. During high school, she also completed a two-year childcare course that required writing lesson plans for three- and four-year old children. Sammy and her husband enjoy seeing their own three children grow at The Goddard School located in Medford.
