We are Steve and Kathy DeNunzio, on-site owners, business managers and enrolled parents at The Goddard School®. Our School is conveniently located on Old Hickory Drive, just off Mechanicsville Tpke., behind Stonewall Jackson Middle School.
Being parents of two young children ourselves, we know firsthand the importance of providing the best environment possible for your child while also staying within affordable limits. The Goddard School® located in Mechanicsville will meet all of your objectives as we strive constantly to exceed your expectations. We will truly make a positive difference in your child's life.
Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year-round, extended-day program from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child from six weeks to six years of age. Our private Kindergarten program has a smaller class size than traditional Kindergarten programs. Therefore, we can focus on each child's level and provide individualized curriculum. We also offer after-school enrichment programs and a fantastic summer program for children up to ten years of age.
Areas of growth and development are highlighted on our daily lesson plans, which our faculty brings to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.
Our state-of-the-art customized building has been designed to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment and incorporates two separate playgrounds that have been specifically modified to challenge and delight children at every age.
