"Having 3 children and working is stress enough – but add trying to find the right daycare…it can make a mom & dad crazy! Over 6 years ago, we found The Goddard School® located in Mechanicsburg. It was simply the best “daycare” for our 3 year old. The staff was friendly and it served its purpose.
The day it was purchased by Ken and Nancy…it became something even more! It became a caring “Family”! Over the years since then, our other 2 children started and “graduated” from The Goddard School® Family in Mechanicsburg fully prepared to begin their school “careers”.
I think I can sum up the experience we had with the School in a story of our 5 year old…
Most often you drop a child off at “daycare” and they cry as you walk out the door. You tear up and feel awful! You might even call to check on them later, just to find out that they had stopped crying 2 minutes after you left. The last day of The Goddard School® for my 5 year old was the hardest day of her “life” so far! She cried (and cried) as we left, saying she was missing her teacher and all her friends already! (It brought tears to my eyes too!) It lasted a lot longer than 2 minutes!!!
The Goddard School® is a part of our “Family” that we are going to miss – more than words can say.
