Kellie McDonald - Kellie is the owner of The Goddard School® located in Lake Orion. She has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. For the past six years she has lived in Oakland Township with her son and dog, Scout. Kellie's past work experience has included real estate development and construction. During her time off, she enjoys playing tennis, yoga and anything outdoors.
Jean Dasuqi - Jean is the Director of Education at The Goddard School® located in Lake Orion. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Michigan State University with a concentration in Child Psychology. Jean also has over twenty years of childcare experience: eleven years in an in-home childcare facility and over ten years of center development and administration. Jean looks forward to working with your family and will do her very best to provide the quality of care that your family deserves.
Emily Hines- Emily is the Assistant Director. She has a Bachelor's degree in Family Studies from Central Michigan University. She worked with children for several years and has been with The Goddard School since 2009. She is always enthusiastic about working closely with parents to bring growth, discovery and significance to each child.
Ms. Kim Kim is the Lead Teacher in the Infant room. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Rochester College. She also has an Associate's degree from Macomb Community College in General Studies. She has worked in Early Childhood Education for ten years and has been with the Goddard School since we opened in 2007. She is warm, dependable and experienced.
Miss Nancy - Nancy is the Assistant Teacher in the Infant room. While at Goddard, she has also worked in the First Steps room. Nancy has many years of experience working with young children. She loves working with infants because it is so much fun watching them grow and change everyday.
Miss Lisa - Lisa is the Assistant Teacher in the Infant Room. She has worked at The Goddard School since 2007 and has been working with children for ten years. She loves working with children because it is rewarding to make a difference in their lives by helping them learn and grow.
Miss Barb - Barb is the afternoon Assistant Teacher in the Infant room. She is very loving and "grandmotherly" with our babies. Barb loves learning the children's individual personalities and seeing them smile.
Ms. Amanda Amanda is the Lead Teacher in the First Steps room. She has her BA degree in Early Childhood Education and Youth Studies from Central Michigan University. She brings over two years of experience in teaching. Amanda is a devoted teaching professional with a gift to reach each and every child while instilling a love for learning.
Ms. LaShorie - LaShorie is the Assistant Teacher in the First Steps classroom. She has over eight years of experience as a child care provider. She is mature, professional and loving with the little ones. She is enthusiastic about teaching at The Goddard School.
Ms. Allie Allie is the afternoon assistant in the First Steps classroom. She is currently attending Oakland University and has ten years experience in childcare. She is warm and loving with the children and always brings fun to the classroom.
Ms. Jasmine- Ms. Jasmine is the lead teacher in the Toddler I room. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education from OCC and has nine years of professional experience working with children. She loves working with children because she enjoys watching them gain confidence as they learn new things. Ms. Jasmine is very excited to get to know your family.
Ms. Aissasa Ms. Aissasa is the Assistant Teacher in the Toddler I room. She is fun, energetic and provides a ton of love for the children in her care. She has past child care experience and is very excited to be a part of The Goddard School® toddler team.
Ms. Chelsea Ms. Chelsea is the Assistant in the Toddler I room. She has worked with children of all ages for several years. Ms. Chelsea's bright, cheery personality make her a wonderful addition to the Goddard Team.
Ms. Nancy Nancy is the Lead Teacher in our Toddler II Room. She has a Bachelors degree from Michigan State University in Family Community Services with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. Nancy has past experience working as a teacher"s aide. Her compassion, dedication and winning smile have made her a wonderful addition to our school.
Ms. Cody - Cody is the Assistant Teacher in the Toddler II classroom. She has over 6 years of childcare experience. Cody is loving, fun and brings much joy to the Toddler II room.
Ms. Amber Ms. Amber is the assistant teacher in the toddler room. She has over 10 years experience working with young children from infant's to school age. She is currently attending OCC to obtain a degree in Early Childhood Education. She looks forward to caring for your precious children.
Ms. Ashley Ashley is the afternoon Assistant Teacher in the Toddler II room. She is currently a full time student. Her childcare experience is in coaching girl's volleyball and as a nanny. She is very enthusiastic about assisting in the Toddler II room.
Ms. Lisa Ms. Lisa is the Lead Teacher in the Get Set Room. She has her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Oakland Community College. Lisa has several years of classroom experience and is excited to work with the children and families at The Goddard School.
Ms. Tujana Tujana is the Assistant Teacher in the Get Set classroom. She has over eight years of childcare experience, three of which were at a Goddard School in Pennsylvania. She loves working with the toddlers and brings fun and energy to the classroom.
Ms. Mai Ms. Mai is the afternoon assistant in the Get Set classroom. She has been working with children for three years. She loves kids, playing with them and making them laugh and smile.
Ms. Sundus Ms. Sundus is the lead teacher in the Preschool classroom. She has over ten years experience working with children. She has her degree in Early Childhood Education from Cuyamaca College. Ms. Sundus loves to encourage children to be creative and confident through art, dramatic play and music.
Ms. Kathy Ms. Kathy is the Assistant Teacher in the Preschool room. She has several years of experience working with children and has been at The Goddard School for over 3 years. A level-headed natural with children, Ms. Kathy has been a delight to have in our school.
Ms. Michelle Michelle is an Assistant Teacher in the Preschool room. She has been working with children for several years and is very excited to be part of The Goddard School team. Ms. Michelle has always loved children and feels teaching is one of the most rewarding jobs a person can have.
Miss Carly - Carly is the Lead Teacher in the Preschool Room. She has a degree in Psychology from Northern Michigan University. She has been an early childhood educator for nine years. Ms. Carly has a smile on her face everyday and works seamlessly with Ms. Sharon as a beautiful team.
Miss Sharon - Sharon is the Assistant Teacher in the Preschool room. She has worked in early childhood education for 17 years. She is very excited to be working at The Goddard School.
Ms. Holly Ms. Holly is afternoon Assistant Teacher in the Preschool room. She also works as our snack coordinator in the mornings to prepare snacks for our children.
Ms. Kristin - Kristin is the Lead Teacher in our Pre-K room. Kristin received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University. She has a triple minor in Early Childhood Development, Language Arts and Mathematics. Kristin completed her student teaching with a Kindergarten and Second Grade class in Romeo, Michigan.
Miss Sue - Sue is the Assistant Teacher in the Pre-K classroom. In the past, she has been a Daycare Director, Preschool Teacher and Preschool Director.
Miss Jaimie Jaimie is the afternoon Assistant Teacher in the Pre-K room. She has several years experience and is excited to be working here at The Goddard School.
Ms. Michele Ms. Michele is the Lead Teacher in the Jr. Kindergarten room. She has a BA degree in Early Childhood Education from Baker College. She has several years of teaching Jr. Kindergarten and is excited to prepare her class for their Kindergarten experience.
Ms. Kathy Ms. Kathy is the Assistant Teacher in the Jr. Kindergarten class. She earned her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Development from Macomb Community College. In addition to her classroom experience, Kathy has owned and directed a childcare facility.
