Ladera Ranch, CA

From Analiese's Dad:
"Hi, Mr. Mike. I wanted to let you know that Analiese was selected for the K/1 advanced class at Oso Grande. Out of 220 kids going into kindergarten for September 2009, Analiese was one of 12 selected for that class (a 5.5% acceptance rate). Out of the 12 kindergarten kids accepted, four (1/3 or 33%)are Goddard kids. 4 of 12… I think that is amazing and is proof that Goddard is worth every penny."

From Gabe and Gracie's Mom:
"Dear Mike and the Goddard Staff Family, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all of your nurturing support and unrelenting patience with my two little ones Gabe and Gracie. As a mother it is very difficult to have my precious little ones away from me for so many hours a day, but there is an overwhelming feeling of emotion when you know in fact your children are being completely cared for by their teachers.

Your staff deserves to be commended for their patience and support of Gabe before, during and after his diagnosis of ADHD. I am aware of the physical aggression and impulsive behavior they had to deal with on a daily basis with Gabe before he was diagnosed. I thank you all for keeping me well informed of all physical incidents and emotional outbursts that occurred. Thankfully we now have a formal diagnosis and are moving forward with treatment. Gabe is attending Social Skills Classes through CUIDAR for Attention and Learning and as you are aware Gabe is also taking medication for his ADHD. Thank you for supporting him while we try different medications and doses to see what will work best for him. Thank you for providing such a strong foundation for Gabe to learn and grow. Gabe loves his “big boy” school and I am grateful everyday for that.

Ms. Sylvia, Ms. Shawn and Ms. Tara deserve to be commended for the loving and fun environment they have created for Gracie. She loves her teachers and always insists on hugging them before we leave. It is amazing to see how much she has grown since she started attending The Goddard School with Ms. Christie and Ms. Erika (who are awesome), she comes home singing songs and counting her snack out of nowhere! She is bringing home her skills learned at school, just the other day she started singing the clean up song when it was clean up time at home... it was so cute - it melts my heart!

Mr. Mike, Ms. Allison and Ms. Jackie thank you so much for your support to not only Gabe and Gracie but also to me. Thank you for your constant communication, understanding and compassion. It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child... I am grateful to say you all are a part of Gabe and Gracie’s village!"

From Dylan's Mom:
“What can I say? My son Dylan is thrilled to be at Goddard. Our experience has been nothing but a joy. My son attended his previous preschool for two years. It was fine until the last few months. He told me that he wasn't smart enough and did not want to go to school anymore. I didn't listen to my instincts until I witnessed the director yelling at a student. That day, I came to Goddard. I immediately knew Dylan needed to be here. Within the first week Dylan told me "Mommy, I'm a smart boy". I couldn't believe it. I knew he was learning and being nurtured. Listen to your instincts when it comes to your children; they're usually right.”

From Alexis' Mom:
"The Goddard School® in Ladera Ranch has been a true blessing to our daughter. She has become well-rounded and very social due to the curriculum and activities in her class. The owner and staff are extremely caring and sensitive to Alexis' needs and wants. They are patient, kind and very knowledgeable when instructing her. The Goddard School has played an intricate part in all of our lives and we love every bit of it!"

From Ethan's Mom:
"I remember walking through the door at The Goddard School for the first time in January 2007. I knew immediately that this was the perfect place for Ethan. From the warm greeting, to the welcoming environment, to the smile on my son's face. It was everything I had hoped for when sending Ethan to preschool.

When Ethan started at Goddard, he was young, shy and a little apprehensive. That quickly changed. He began to make friends combined with the excitement on his face to attend school each day. Ethan loved school so much that he would wake up and ask if he was going to school that day! This was the right school for him.

Now that Ethan is entering Kindergarten and seeing how much he has grown, we feel sad and a bit teary eyed that he is leaving such a wonderful school. It is bittersweet knowing that he is entering elementary school with the confidence and tools he has learned from all of you.

We hope this letter is a reminder to the entire staff that what you do on a daily basis is a huge part of a successful beginning for so many children. We are grateful and want to express how wonderful it's been to be part of the Goddard Family."
