Issaquah, WA

Ms. Catherine - Owner - After nearly 15 years with a local software company, Catherine realized she wanted to create a role where she could have more time with her family, as well as to give back and make a difference in the lives of others - enter The Goddard School. Catherine's formal training is in Journalism, Business Administration, French and Paralegal Studies/Business Law. She lives in Sammamish with her husband and three children. Catherine looks forward to working with the families attending The Goddard School every day!

Ms. Kelly - Educational Director - Ms. Kelly has been working with young children since 1999. She has several years of supervisory experience and her Bachelor’s of Arts (BA) degree in Human Development, as well as Early Childhood Education and Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials. She is excited to meet you and your child.

Ms. Amanda - Assistant Director - Ms. Amanda is the Assistant Director and previously was the Lead Teacher in the Seal room. She studied at Northwest University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She has been working with children for six years and teaching for four of those six years. She is excited to be working with all our families.

Ms. Michelle M. -Infant A- Ms. Michelle is the Lead Teacher in the Starfish room. She has received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Teaching. She has been working with children since 1996. She has always enjoyed working with young children and is looking forward to interacting with the infants at The Goddard School located in Issaquah.

Ms. Stephanie - Infant A - Ms. Stephanie is the Assistant Teacher in the Starfish room. Ms. Stephanie has her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology and Environmental Science. She has been working with children since 1997. Ms. Stephanie enjoys working with children and investing in their lives.

Ms. Carolyn- Infant Support - Ms. Carolyn has been working with children since 1997. She has her BA in Philosophy and Religion. Ms. Carolyn really enjoys providing care for infants and their families. She believes The Goddard School is well designed, equipped and staffed to provide the best quality care for young children. She looks forward to helping provide a calm, nurturing, joyful and enriching environment to help babies thrive.

Ms. Dominica - Infant Support - Ms. Dominica has been working with children since 1997. She has education and experience in elementary education as well as experience teaching overseas. Ms. Dominica really enjoys providing care for children and their families. She believes The Goddard School is the place for her and has experienced wonderful things while being here.

Ms. Terri -Infant B - Ms. Terri is the Lead Teacher in the Seahorse room. She has been working with children since 1982. Ms. Terri is working towards her Child Development Associate Credential. She is looking forward to be part of The Goddard School located in Issaquah. She is excited to be a part of your child's life and helping them learn and grow!

Ms. Morgan - First Steps - Ms. Morgan is the Lead Teacher in the Sandpiper class. She has been working with children since 1999. She is excited to be such an important part of each child's growing and learning process.

Ms. Kaylee - First Steps - Ms. Kaylee is the Assistant Teacher in the Sandpiper room. She has been working with children for the past seven years. Ms. Kaylee is excited to work at The Goddard School located in Issaquah, WA because she loves helping children develop into well rounded individuals who are prepared and ready for each educational step in their life. Ms. Kaylee is looking forward to working with you and your family.

Ms. Susitna -Young Toddler- Ms. Susitna is the Lead Teacher in the Sea Turtle room. She received a Bachelor's degree in Language Arts and Elementary Education from Seattle Pacific University. Additionally, she has more than 20 years teaching experience. Ms. Susitna is excited to encourage your child explore their world!

Ms. Brittany - Young Toddlers - Ms. Brittany is the Assistant Teacher in the Sea Turtle classroom. She has her Bachelors Degree in General Studies with an Elementary Education teaching certificate. She has been working with children since 2004. Ms. Brittany is excited to be joining The Goddard School located in Issaquah and to learn and grow with a great faculty. She is also excited about the opportunity to care for that group of children and build relationships with them and their families.

Ms. Andrea - Toddler - Ms. Andrea is the Lead Teacher in the Puffin room. She has worked with children since 2007. She currently attends Bellevue College to earn her Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. She is excited to join the family at The Goddard School located in Issaquah and to work with our children each day.

Ms. Marina - Toddler - Ms. Marina is the Assistant Teacher in the Puffin class. She has been working with children since 1999. She is a strong believer in the importance of early childhood development. She is thrilled to meet and get to know your beautiful children.

Ms. Elizabeth - Get Set- Ms. Elizabeth is the Lead Teacher in the Sea Otter classroom. She has been working with children since 1998. She has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Ms. Elizabeth looks forward to being a part of The Goddard School and the quality atmosphere our school provides.

Ms. Christy Jo - Get Set - Christy Jo is the Assistant Teacher in the Sea Otter room. She has been working with children since 2000. Ms. Christy is excited to be able to provide a safe, fun and nurturing environment where the children can discover their world. Ms. Christy is looking forward to growing as a teacher at The Goddard School located in Issaquah.

Ms. Karra - Preschool I - Ms. Karra is the Lead Teacher in the Pelican room. She has been working with children since 2004. Ms. Karra received her Bachelor's degree from Western Washington University with a degree in Humanities and Social Science. She is excited to be a part of the Goddard team and to help children grow, learn and be positive role models for each other.

Ms. Stephanie - Preschool I - Ms. Stephanie is the Assistant Teacher in the Pelican room. She has been working with children since 2006. She has her Associates Degree in Arts and Science as well as a BA in Japanese. She loves helping children learn and grow and is looking forward to having your children in her care.

Ms. Lindsey - Preschool II - Ms. Lindsey is the Lead Teacher in the Seal room. She has been working with children since 2001. She has her Masters of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a Washington State Teaching Certificate. Ms. Lindsey is excited to help nurture the children while they learn and grow.

Ms. Nicole -Preschool II - Ms. Nicole is the Assistant Teacher in the Seal classroom. She has been working with children 7 years. Ms. Nicole is excited to be able to work here at The Goddard School. She is encouraged by the environment and the faculty and excited to get to know you and your family.

Ms. Jane - Pre-Kindergarten I - Ms. Jane is the Lead Teacher in the Dolphin room. She received a Bachelor of Education degree from the University Of Nottingham, in the United Kingdom, specializing in Early Childhood Development. Additionally, she has more than 13 years teaching experience. Miss Jane looks forward to providing a nurturing environment where your child can discover their world.

Ms. Cheri - Pre-Kindergarten I - Ms. Cheri is the Assistant Teacher in the Dolphin room and has worked with children since 2006. She has completed several classes toward her CDA credential. She loves being a part of Goddard's great team and working with the talented children.

Mr. Crane - Pre-Kindergarten II - Mr. Crane is the Co-Lead Teacher in the Orca room. Mr. Crane has a Bachelor's in Business Education and has been working with children at both the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten levels since 2001. Mr. Crane is excited to be a part of our Pre-Kindergarten program and working with our children, families and colleagues.

Ms. Hilary - Pre-Kindergarten II Ms. Hilary is the Co-Lead Teacher in the Orca room. She has been working with children since 2007. She has her BA in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences and also has her Washington State Residency Certificate K-8th. She loves working with children and feels she can learn just as much from them as they do from her.

Ms. Nasset - Private Kindergarten- Ms. Nasset will be the teacher in our private kindergarten. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education from Central Washington University. Additionally, she has received her Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Seattle Pacific University and is also National Board Certified Teacher. Ms. Nasset looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for learning with the children in hopes of encouraging them to be lifelong learners.

Ms. Janis - Operations Coordinator - Ms. Janis is the Operations Coordinator. She has been working with children since 1969 when she worked with Head Start children on the Pala Indian Reservation in southern California. Ms. Janis graduated from Kauai Community College in 1980 with an Associate Degree in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse. After 12 years, she returned to school and completed her Bachelor Degree in Nursing. In 1996, she received her Masters Degree and became a Certified Nurse Midwife and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. With 30 years of nursing, she has focused her work on women and children and has delivered babies, worked in Community Health Clinics with the underserved, cared for children with chronic illnesses, and done home visits on the reservations and in the barrios of southern Arizona. She has taught nursing students in the classrooms, hospitals and clinics.

Ms. Jennifer - Program Support - Ms. Jennifer has been working with children since 2000. She is excited to be at The Goddard School and looks forward to watching your child grow and learn each day!

Ms. Robin - Program Support - Ms. Robin has been working with children since 1995. She has her BA in Recreation Studies and enjoys working with all age groups. She is proud to be a part of this wonderful program.

Mr. Calvin -Program Support- Mr. Calvin is excited to be apart of The Goddard School located in Issaquah. He looks forward to meeting the children and helping them play and learn.

Ms. Grace -Program Support- Ms. Grace is excited to work at The Goddard School located in Issaquah because she loves working with children and hopes to major in Elementary Education in order to become a teacher.

Ms. Emily -Program Support- Ms. Emily is currently attending Bellevue College and is studying American Sign Language. She is excited to work at The Goddard School in Issaquah because she loves working with children and is looking forward to getting to know you and your child.

Ms. Chianti - Program Support - Ms. Chianti works as Program Support as well as assisting in classrooms as a long term substitute. She has been working with children for five years and has a passion for watching them learn. Ms. Chianti is excited to be here at The Goddard School and looks forward to building lasting relationships with the children and families.

Ms. Mary - Kitchen/Program Support- Ms. Mary works in our school kitchen. She also helps in the classroom when there is a need. Ms. Mary has been working with children since 2003. She has her Associates Degree in General Studies from Bellevue Community College. Additionally, she has obtained her Culinary Arts Degree from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. She looks forward to getting to know the children and helping to support the teachers here at The Goddard School located in Issaquah.
