Welcome to The Goddard School® located in Independence! We feel privileged and excited to be part of the community and of service to you. We look forward to meeting your family and showing you our beautiful School! Located less than a mile west of Rockside Road exit off I-77, we are very accessible from all locations.

The Goddard School can make a positive difference in your child's life. Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year round extended day program from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child from six weeks to six years of age.

We also offer after-school enrichment and a summer program for children up to seven years of age. We always have busy and exciting summer activities planned!

Areas of growth and development are highlighted on our daily lesson plans, which our faculty brings to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.

Our state-of-the-art custom designed building has been planned to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. Two separate playgrounds have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age.

We are proud to have received the state award for excellence in Early Childcare and Education. In October 2006, we received a One-Star Step Up to Quality Award from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. This award shows our ongoing commitment to a higher standard of care and education. Your child will have lower classroom teacher-to-child ratios and be in a nurturing environment for children to grow and develop to their full potential. Our teachers are also engaged in specialized professional development training throughout the year. We are very proud to have received this award!
