Huntingdon Valley, PA

"It was wonderful knowing you and your amazing staff.  Knowing that my child was in safe, responsible and loving hands in my absence afforded me much peace of mind.  It was a great and thoroughly enriching experience for my daughter too and she loved every second of it.  You all and the little friends at Goddard will be greatly missed.  Thank you so much for everything."

"Thank you so very much for helping to teach and care for Ryan. We are nervous about having Ryan move on, and we only hope to be as comfortable leaving him at his new big boy school as we were at The Goddard School."

"My husband and I are so appreciative of the wonderful care that Rowan received at your school.  The classrooms were always impeccably clean and organized, yet inviting, warm and fun.  More important than the physical aspects of your school, however, are the teachers.  The kindness, gentleness and interest that each teacher expressed for Rowan was extraordinary.  Miss Elaine, Miss Nellie, and Miss Sherica were all amazing teachers and Rowan always felt comfortable and cared for when I dropped him off each day.  I could not have asked for more.  Because the infant room teachers are so amazing, I was sorry that Rowan had to leave them.  His next teacher, Ms. Michele, however, exceeded my expectations.  Ms. Michele shows a genuine care and interest in all of her students.  She is a truly warm, loving and patient teacher and her engaging personality makes Rowan feel comfortable and safe.  She treats him like he was one of her own children.  Although there are several children in her room, it is evident that Ms. Michele goes out of her way to find time to work with each child individually.  Ms. Michele has been nothing short of excellent and I commend you for having such wonderful teachers like her at your school.  We could not have been more pleased with your facility and the care Rowan received."

"Thank you for being there when the Armstrong family needed you. Keep up all the good work at The Goddard School."

"Thank you so much for creating an environment at The Goddard School in which Henry has thrived academically and socially. We will miss you and your kind and caring staff. Thank you for a wonderful four years."

"My daughter has attended The Goddard School located in Huntingdon Valley for about a year and a half and has had a wonderful experience. She began in the Get Set program and has moved through Preschool 1 and is now in Preschool 2. Her growth in her time at The Goddard School located in Huntingdon Valley has been extraordinary. The Goddard philosophy of developing a lifetime love of learning is obvious every day. There is an excitement when you walk through the doors. The staff is caring and dedicated and you can see the enthusiasm that brings to the children. The diverse range of programs, such as the weekly themes, insure there is always something new and exciting. The most telling example of this is when I go to pick up my daughter and she doesn't want to leave and she can't tell me enough about all the things she's done and learned that day. I know, without a doubt, that I've made the best decision for my daughter's early education by choosing The Goddard School located in Huntingdon Valley."

"Our daughter, Dana, graduated Miss Jen's and Miss Kim's Pre-K class at The Goddard School in Huntingdon Valley, PA, on June 15, 2011. Dana attended Goddard from the time she was 6 and a half months old until she was 5 years old.  We met so many nice children and parents along the way.  From the day we met the owner of the school, Mr. Bill, and the director of the school, Ms. Roberta, we knew we made the right choice for our daughter.  Most of the staff have been employed by Mr. Bill for over 5 years; longevity is a plus in daycare/preschool.  The teachers are the most amazing group who are totally dedicated to the well-being and education of your young child.  The Parents Group is composed of a group of full-time working moms and dads who somehow squeeze in time to make school extra fun at Goddard by fundraising, donating their talent and time to make sure our child had a great day!  We are proud to say we were part of this group for a few years.  Our daughter finished her last day at Goddard on June 16, 2011.  Miss Jen and Miss Kim did a wonderful job on easing Dana's worries about where her next adventures will lead her.  At that morning drop off, Miss Jen handed me a portfolio of Dana's drawings, pictures that were taken at school and teacher's notes on Dana's progress over the timeline of the past 4 and a half years!  I sat in my car by myself and cried; not only did my baby grow up at Goddard, she thrived and blossomed into a beautiful, bright, and caring child.  It was like a journal of her life!  The teachers wrote very detailed notes on Dana's developmemt and documented things that were going on with Dana at school and at home.  It was truly a gift we will hold onto in our memory box.  Things we'll remember the most: Mr. Bill made us feel like our most valuable asset would be very well cared for, and he was right!  Ms. Roberta reassured us that we were not a crazy, worried mommy and daddy on our daughter's first day in the infant room and then all the way until her last day of school.  Miss Elaine and Miss Nellie were like grandmothers to our daughter in the infant room.  Miss Trish helped her through her terrible two's; Miss Jamie made summer camp super fun; Miss Marianne helped us survive Potty Training and was always there to help with transitions.  Miss Suzanne always had fun projects, a warm smile to greet us and was our awesome yoga teacher!  Miss Melissa helped us make the transition to the older child side of the building and always made Dana smile.  Miss April taught us Spanish and celebrated the marriage of Q and U.  Miss Jen and Miss Kim really helped Dana get ready for kindergarten and helped her realize her own independence!  We will miss all of the staff and our friends at Goddard, but we are very grateful for the past 4 and a half years we had together!  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!"
