Choosing Childcare
The Hamby family, Dianne, Rick and Kevin, welcome you to The Goddard School® located in Hoover! We are extremely proud to be the owners of the first and only Goddard School located in Alabama.
The Goddard School® is a premier early childhood development program that can make a positive difference in your child's life. We have an atmosphere that is filled with a nurturing environment, challenging curriculum and healthy socialization. We are excited to be incorporating enrichments into our program including Spanish, Sign Language, Computer Lab, Math, Science, Nutrition, Music Appreciation and Physical Fitness. The Goddard School® is also accredited through SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools).
Enrollment is limited and we would love for your child to join our School. Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year round extended day program from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child from six weeks to six years of age.
Areas of growth and development are highlighted on our daily lesson plans, which our faculty bring to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.
Our state-of-the-art custom designed building has been planned to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. Two separate playgrounds have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age.
