"Our experience with the Holly Springs Goddard School has been outstanding. We had attended three preschools prior to this and have been happily surprised that the Goddard School does things differently. Most notably, the management and teachers are absolutely engaged with the children AND with the parents. When I pick up Cohen from school, I am always greeted by the staff with anecdotes about his participation that day. "The opening of Goddard-Holly Springs was perfect timing. We were very dissatisfied with the previous daycare our son was attending. He was coming home with scratches, fed sugary snacks all day and he was not learning. This school had no idea of why I would teach my infant son sign language. They also had no idea of choking hazards, peanut allergies, etc. We just had to get him out of there. We did not realize how much he was not learning until he started at Goddard. Within a month of coming to Goddard our son had made a complete 180 in his overall demeanor. He was happier, more outgoing and he came home displaying things he learned in school. Goddard used the sign language I had taught my son as an infant and taught him other signs as well and so much more. Once he was in the two-year-old room he advanced even further. He was talking more, saying his alphabet, counting and overall (being) more creative; he even does yoga. Our families were amazed at how much he has changed in such a short time. He loves all the teachers and staff, which is easy to do since they are all so warm and caring and educated. He eats healthy snacks and plays on a safe playground with children his own age. My husband and I are just so grateful for Goddard for coming into our life when we needed them most and for having a great teaching philosophy. "
