The Consumers' Choice Award is an initiative of Consumers' Choice Institute which has retained a leading independent research firm to conduct surveys in major U.S. cities. It is unique as the winners are determined by consumers and not by a panel of judges. Its purpose is to publicly identify those establishments that have been voted by consumers as being their choice for excellence.

The North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) is a non-governmental, voluntary organization that accredits public and private schools and districts in 19 states, the Navajo Nation and the Department of Defense Dependents' Schools worldwide. NCA CASI accredits a range of schools from preschool through postsecondary, including: early childhood, elementary, middle, secondary, adult/vocational, college preparatory, special purpose, unit (K-12) and non-degree granting postsecondary schools. NCA CASI is an accrediting division of AdvancED.
