Miss Jennifer - Educational Director - Miss Jennifer is thrilled to be the Education Director at The Goddard School located in Highlands Ranch. She has been in the education field since 1991. Miss Jennifer began teaching preschool and eventually grew into management and administrative positions in the field. She was employed as a Center Director for over nine years in the state of Texas. Upon returning to Colorado she began work as an Infant Room Supervisor for Goddard and then accepted the position as Director of this location. Miss Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas. "I love working for Goddard. It has been a great experience and we always strive to be the best in early childhood development," adds Jennifer.
Miss Katie - Assistant Director - Miss Katie is excited to be the Assistant Director at The Goddard School located in Highlands Ranch. Before joining our team, Miss Katie worked at The Goddard School located in Castle Rock teaching the two-year-old classroom. She is currently working on a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Miss Katie truly believes in Goddard's learning through play teaching philosophy. "I look forward to the opportunity of serving families in the Highlands Ranch area and making a difference in this community," adds Katie.
Miss Jennifer - Perky Penguins Teacher - Miss Jennifer is very happy to be your teacher this year. She has taught children for the past ten years and has a Master's degree in Elementary Education. Miss Jennifer loves children dearly and believes they are our future. She is excited for a great year at The Goddard School and looks forward to working and communicating with you.
Miss Regina - Gentle Giraffes Teacher - Miss Regina received a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of La Verne. She has worked with children for over five years and looks forward to working with the children at The Goddard School.
Miss Sheri -Playful Puppies-
Sherri has her B.A. in Child Development from California State University Northridge. Sherri is a co-teacher in the Playful Puppies classroom. She was born and raised in California but moved to Colorado over a year ago. She has been married for ten years and has two wonderful children. She is one of the original teachers that started here when the school opened. She is very excited to get to know your children!
Miss MaryAnn - Eager Elephants Teacher - Miss MaryAnn is very excited to be working at The Goddard School in our Eager Elephants room. She has been a teacher for twenty-six years. Miss MaryAnn has a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. She grew up in Colorado and now lives in Highlands Ranch with her four girls, who keep her on her toes!
Miss Morgan - Terrific Turtles Teacher Miss Morgan is excited to be teaching at Goddard. She has been a Child Development Professional for three years. She is a certified Massage Therapist and enjoys doing massage part time.
Miss Trisha - Gentle Giraffes Teacher
Ms. Patricia has a B.A. in Human Development with a minor in Early Childhood Development. She has been teaching children for 10 years.
Miss Emily - Terrific Turtle Teacher
Miss Michelle - Cuddly Kittens Teacher Miss Michelle and her husband have a young son and she has been working in the education field for more than seven years. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from California State University Dominguez Hills and earned a Master's degree in Education from Pepperdine University. Miss Michelle is very excited to be at The Goddard School and looks forward to all she will experience in the Cuddly Kittens classroom.
Miss Amber - Cuddly Kittens Teacher Amber has almost completed her degree in Early Childhood Education at Regis University. She plans to continue her education to include additional certification to work with autistic children. She worked at a The Goddard School located in Westlake, Ohio, before moving to Colorado with her husband. She loves working with children because they are so excited to learn and no two days are the same. In her free time she likes to walk her dogs, go to the movies, and talk with friends and family back home. She loves working with the wonderful faculty here in Highlands Ranch. She loves all the children here at Goddard School, especially her little Kittens!
Miss Madison - Floater Miss Madison is happy to be a teacher at The Goddard School. She is currently attending Metro State College in Denver where she is majoring in Human Development and minoring in Elementary Education.
Miss Caroline - Playful Puppies-
Miss Caroline is a co-teacher in the Playful Puppies classroom. She has her Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. She was born and raised in Long Island, New York. She worked in Littleton Public Schools for six years while raising her three children. She is very excited to work with Sherri and the wonderful Puppies!
Miss Kim - Darling Ducks
Kim has a degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. She has nine years of experience working with preschool-age children. She has also worked with all ages of elementary children as a substitute teacher. For the past few years she has been at home raising her children. She is excited to be back to work at the Goddard School after her time away from teaching. You will find her in the infant room loving all the little ones!
Miss Katie - Marvelous Monkeys
Katie has her degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She has been working in early childhood education for the last year and a half and she loves it! She loves working in the Marvelous Monkey classroom because she enjoys the children's energy. She was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and loves living here. If you ever need anything please don’t hesitate to talk to her. She is looking forward to teaching your children and getting to know you.
Sam & Jo Morton
Sam and Jo Morton are the owners of The Goddard School. They were born and raised in Philadelphia. Jo is a graduate of Immaculata College and has her degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. Sam graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a degree in Management Marketing.
Sam and Jo were college sweethearts. They were married in 1974 and had five children (raised 6). They moved to Florida in 1990. Jo coached soccer for the last 35 years, including two boys’ state high school championship teams. She was also the Assistant Tennis Pro at a local Tennis club. Sam was in the construction field for 30 years, running various businesses. Sam is still active in officiating high level soccer matches and enjoys jogging.
They moved to Colorado in May of 2008 to run The Goddard School located in Castle Rock for their daughter-in-law. They enjoyed Colorado and the preschool environment so much that they decided to make Colorado their permanent home and open the The Goddard School located in Highlands Ranch. They place tremendous emphasis on Education. All of their children are college grads. A majority of the teachers have Bachelors degrees, several have their Masters' degrees. Besides taking care of your children, they will instill in them the joy of learning.
Miss Megan - Darling Ducks Miss Megan P. has a degree in early childhood education from Northern Michigan University. She has been working with young children for the last year and it is an absolute passion of hers. She hopes to get her master's in early childhood special education eventually.
Miss Denise - Cuddly Kittens Miss Denise is very happy to be working in the Monkey room. She received her associate's degree in early childhood development. She knew then that she would work with children for the rest of her life. She went to Metro State College to get her Bachelor's of Arts in elementary education. She became a full-time substitute teacher in the Adams 12 school district, and later became a 4th grade teacher for two years.
Miss Stacy - Darling Ducks Miss Stacy is so excited to be working in the Infant Room at The Goddard School.She studied early childhood education at The University of South Florida. She received her Colorado Director Certification in 2003 and has been in administration for the past seven years. She one son. She looks forward to getting to know the children and families!
Miss Kelly - Floater Miss Kelly received her early childhood education certification in 2010. She worked at at the Goddard School located in Castle Rock for two years. She was a stay at home mom for 16 years and then she decided she really wanted to spend her days teaching young children. She has been a Pre-K teacher for several years and now enjoys the babies and toddlers most of all!
Miss Carlie - Floater Miss Carlie has been working in an educational setting for three years and is extremely happy to be a part of the Goddard family now. For as long as she can remember she has wanted to teach and she is now working her way through school for a degree in early childhood education with a psychology emphasis. Being around the children brings a smile to her face. She is eager to follow her dreams by helping children reach theirs.
Miss Lina - Perky Penguins Miss Lina, has been working at Goddard since 2011. She is currently working in the Penguin Room. Five year old children are at a very rewarding age. She has taught this age group for six years.
Miss Clarice - Darling Ducks / Floater Miss Clarice is a nursing student at Arapahoe Community College working toward her RN certification. Her long-term goals are to become a nurse midwife and she plans on getting her doula certification in the meantime. She is also working toward a degree in psychology with a focus on child development. She loves working with children and is passionate about the importance of early education. She loves having the opportunity to work so closely with the amazing children here at Goddard and having the chance to learn from them everyday.
Miss Sara - Marvelous Monkeys Miss Sara received her Group Leader Certification from Arapahoe Community College. Miss Sara plans on continuing school.
Miss Kenzie - Eager Elephants Miss Kenzie is currently attending Arapahoe Community College. She enjoys coming to work every day and spending time with the Eager Elephants!
Miss Alyce - Gentle Giraffes Miss Alyce earned a bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences and a teaching certification from Metro State. Miss Alyce is currently working on her master's in family counseling.
Miss Adrienne - Floater Miss Adrienne graduated from CSU with a bachelor's degree in behavioral science and family studies. She enjoys being a floater!
Miss Carlie - Floater Miss Carlie is currently attending college to complete her early childhood education degree with a psychology emphasis. She enjoys working with all the children.
Miss Alex - Floater Miss Alex earned a bachelor's degree in speech pathology. Alex is currently working on a master's degree and elementary teaching license.
Miss Julie - Turtle Class Miss Julie has a group lead certification and is working towards a degree. Miss Julie has several years of experience in childcare and has worked with all ages!
