School Owners - Goddard’s Management Team -
Welcome to The Goddard School located in Hanover! The on-site owner is Dipti Singh. She graduated from the University of Maryland in 1994. Dipti has been blessed with two wonderful boys and loves being a parent. She enjoys working with children and their families to give each child a great start for their academic future. She has enjoyed the opportunity to work with the wonderful teachers who have dedicated their careers to early childhood education.
Ms. Carrie - Director, Three Years -
Ms. Carrie is the Director of The Goddard School located in Hanover, Maryland. She graduated from Towson University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and began teaching in the Howard County Public Schools. Ms. Carrie wanted to work in a smaller, private school setting. She became the teacher in the kindergarten room at Peter Pan Learning Center and the Assistant Director shortly after. Ms. Carrie has taught children of all ages and loves it! She looks forward to working with the teachers, children and families at Goddard!
Ms. Heather - Beautiful Butterflies - One Year
Ms. Heather joins our faculty with experience as a teacher in a Pre-K classroom at a local childcare center. Ms. Heather graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has experience teaching children in Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade. Ms. Heather has also been a children's gymnastics coach for several years.
Ms. Karla - Rockin' RobinsOne Year -
Ms. Karla is very excited to return to working in the field of education. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from The College of Notre Dame. Prior to that, and during the summers, Ms. Karla worked at a private preschool for several years. After completing her degree she worked in Montgomery County Public Schools. She is currently working to earn her Master's degree in Reading and Literacy.
Ms. Mandy- Rockin' Robins Ms. Mandy recently graduated with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Nyack College in New York. She has previously worked in a nursery school and preschool with children of various ages. Ms. Mandy completed student teaching in Pre-K, Kindergarten and third grade.
Ms. Tonya - Awesome Ants, Three Years -
Ms. Tonya absolutely loves children. They are the future and seeing their smiling faces makes her day much better. She has earned her 90- and 45-hour certificates as well as attending several other continuing education courses. She looks forward to earning her associate's degree.
Ms. Brittany- Awesome Ants Ms. Brittany recently graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. Miss Brittany has worked as a childcare provider at a fitness center, as well as a substitute teacher in the public schools.
Miss Marissa - Terrific Turtles, Two Years - Miss Marissa loves working with children and is pursuing her Associate's degree in early childhood education at AACC. She plans to transfer to Towson University to earn her bachelor's degree.
Ms. Chrissi - Wiggly Worms, Three Years - Ms. Chrissi has worked in childcare for many years. She has her 90- and 45-hour certificates and has worked with children of all ages. Ms. Chrissi is very excited to work at The Goddard School located in Hanover.
Ms. Janelle- Wiggly Worms Ms. Janelle has been in the early childhood education field for many years. She has worked with children of all ages from infants to preschool. Miss Janelle has all of her early childhood certifications and is also credentialed by the state of Maryland.
Ms. Jacelyn Chirping Chicks - Ms. Jacelyn has over 10 years of experience working with children, primarily young infants. She earned her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Southern Maryland.
Ms. Rhonda - Chirping Chicks, Three Years -
Ms. Rhonda is from Annapolis, Maryland. She has three boys that are 11 years, 5 years and 2 months old. Ms. Rhonda loves working with children! She has over eight years of experience in the childcare field.
Ms. Marcia - Baby Beetles -
Ms. Marcia has completed her CDA (child development associates) and has worked with the toddler age group for over 10 years. She has continued her education through various courses that the county and other organizations offer in order to stay up to date in early childhood education.
Miss Danielle - Baby Beetles, Two Years - Miss Danielle has grown up around children and assisted with her grandmother's in home daycare. She has completed the 45 hour infant and toddler certification and is currently working on additional early childhood certifications.
Ms. Courtney - Floater, Two Years -
Ms. Courtney is very excited to work at The Goddard School located in Hanover. She has babysat for many years and is working on obtaining her degree.
Miss Cassandra - Floater, Two Years -
Miss Cassandra is excited to work at The Goddard School located in Hanover. She has worked at several other childcare centers including AACC, Annie's Ark and the CCBC center. Miss Cassandra has earned her 90-hour certificate as well.
