Heather Dubian - Owner - Hi, I moved to Glastonbury four years ago and am very excited to have been given the opportunity to serve this area. I believe our school has become a pillar of this community, and I look forward to many more exciting years with you and your family!
I attended the University of Vermont and Western New England School of Law, and have been an attorney for nineteen years. Word of mouth introduced me to The Goddard School, more precisely, my step-sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and Dennis Beltram. Andrea and Dennis opened and operate The Goddard School located in Flanders, New Jersey, and are also co-owners of The Goddard School located in Glastonbury. I am excited to have begun this new chapter in my life! Welcome to our family!
Andrea & Dennis Beltram - Owners - Andrea graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree and Dennis graduated from Rutgers University and Montclair State College with degrees in Economics and Accounting. While waiting for their first Goddard School to be completed, Andrea retired from the corporate world, taught at a preschool, volunteered evenings in the pediatric ward at St. Joseph's Hospital in New Jersey and took college courses in Early Childhood Education. Their goal is to provide an atmosphere suited to promoting your child's development of self esteem, confidence and a lifelong love of learning. Andrea and Dennis want each child to feel a part of our Goddard family and will work their best to make that happen.
Mary Popick - Director - Hello and welcome to our school! I am excited to be a part of such a wonderful learning environment. Since our opening in 2009 we have grown as a family and have established a great reputation in our community. We are very proud of our center! This past year I was awarded the highest honor by the franchise - DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR - and I am very happy to say that I could not have done that without the help of the families and staff we have here.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Child Psychology from Central Connecticut State University. Currently, I reside in South Windsor with my husband and two children. Being a parent is something I treasure and my family means the world to me! I believe in leading my team by example. Having worked in this field for the past 20 years, I know how difficult it is to leave a child in someone else's care. That's why every child here will be treated as though they are my own and I share this philosophy with my staff. I am available for all as a mentor and a guide. I want to welcome you and your family to our school and our Goddard family!
