    Gaithersburg, MD

    Jim Worley - Owner - Mr. Worley obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Maryland and his Master of Science degree in Engineering from Stanford University. He has Business Administration training from both Georgia State University and The University of Maryland. Mr. Worley has over 25 years of professional experience in Engineering and in Business Administration both at AT&T and at Hughes. Mr. and Mrs. Worley have been with Goddard since 2003. Long time residents of Gaithersburg, the Worleys make their home within a mile of the school. Mr. Worley is the on-site owner of the Gaithersburg school and invites you to drop in and visit any time.

    Jill Worley - Owner - Mrs. Worley received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from The University of Maryland. She spent the first portion of her career at Continental Insurance in customer relations, and then, after a range of coursework, as a Computer Programmer. After owning and operating The Goddard School located in Frederick for five years where Jill was the on-site owner, the Worleys opened The Goddard School located in Gaithersburg in September of 2007. The Worleys have three children who are very active within the Montgomery County Public School System.

    Heather Kramer - Director of Education - Mrs. Kramer has been with The Goddard School located in Gaithersburg since before it opened in September of 2007. She has her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Virginia Tech and her Master's degree in Education from George Mason University. Mrs. Kramer spent the first nine years of her career in the Virginia and Maryland public schools as a Second Grade Teacher, giving her an excellent experience base with the Maryland State Department of Education's expectations for children entering elementary school. Heather manages the school's curriculum of learning which includes overseeing the school's outstanding teaching staff of over 50 educators.

    Sherry Hamre - Assistant Director - Ms. Hamre joined the faculty of The Goddard School located in Gaithersburg during the first six months of its opening (in early 2008). Ms. Hamre obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Frostburg State University and is currently completing her Master's degree at Hood College. Ms. Kelley has five years of combined teaching and administrative experience in Early Childhood Education. In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Ms. Kelley specializes in managing the school's Quality Training & Assurance program.

    Rachael Braden - Assistant Director - Ms. Braden has her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska. Ms. Braden has two years of teaching experience in the Pre-Kindergarten age group. In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Ms. Braden oversees the school's Special Enrichment programs. These are subjects that are taught by Specialists and include Spanish, American Sign Language, Physical Education, Music, and Yoga.
