The Goddard School is the best!! Being a mother of two boys, my kids are my highest priority...they always come first!! I first started looking for a preschool when my older son was a year and a half. I must have physically visited approximately 25 preschools in the area and had an issue with every one of them. To my dismay, I'd either see kids crying and miserable or the place smelling like dirty diapers that hadn't been changed. I couldn't stand being there myself let alone sending my child there. It occurred to me at one point that I might end up having to home school my kids!! Then one day I saw a sign for The Goddard School on Pond Road. I walked in, to be greeted by the very friendly Mr. Kevin and Mr. Ralph. It was a brand new school and they showed me around all the classrooms and playgrounds. I instantly fell in love with the school. But I wasn't convinced on sending my son just yet!! I saw a class in action not once but a few times. The teachers were friendly and very educated, the kids were happy and the place was sparkling clean. I enrolled my son as one of the first classes formed in his age group. Being attached to home, he slowly came to love the school and looked forward to going there. I noticed he was starting to become social and academically more advanced than kids his age attending other schools. I later enrolled my second son, and the teachers would let him visit my older son's class whenever he missed being home with me. They're a great school with a wonderful personal touch to them. The Goddard School on Pond Road has given both my boys a warm and loving environment to grow in. The school still looks new and always smells clean because they do such a good job maintaining good hygiene. My children have grown to become social, smart and well groomed boys attending all advanced level Math and Reading programs in their elementary schools. I joked with Mr. Kevin when we were leaving saying, “I'd have another child just so he/she can attend The Goddard School on Pond Road, because as much as my kids.....I love coming here too!!”

"This school is like a home away from home for my son. I moved to Freehold when my son was a year and a half and he had never been in any school or away from me. I sent him to this Goddard and they nurtured and comforted him until he was ready to adjust on his own. Every day I would leave him with a broken heart as he would cry for me not to leave. I would check on him in the middle of the day and see him smiling and doing things with the kids and teachers I never would have thought he would have done. When I picked him up he was happy, never ever a tear. There were days I would pick him up and the teachers took digital photos to show me how happy he was. I won’t tell you this came easy though, Mr. Kevin helped this transition like no other administrator. They moved a teacher with him the entire time he was making this transition and she would comfort him for a short period until my son was ready to be on his own. This to me was priceless. The administration here does whatever they need to do for your child with thoughts of love and encouragement. Many days I would be in the office and they would be helping me through leaving him as well. My son has learned leaps and bounds above most other children his age. I am most days so proud of the little 2.5 year old he has become, singing songs I never even sang to him, counting to over 15!!! Speaking his mind, being polite and well adjusted. This school is the best and I will be sad when he graduates out."

The owners are onsite every day and are active in everything that your child does. The staff at Goddard Pond Road is like family. They go above and beyond to educate and prepare the children. "As I sit down to write this appreciation letter, I look over at Connor and realize again how much he has grown over the past four years. It's hard to believe that just two years ago, I wondered what his personality would be, if he'd learn at the pace of others, would he be shy or outgoing (we all know the answer to this :) and most of all, if he'd be caring. We'll he's four now and I am very proud of his progress. Connor is smart, outgoing, caring and he has some personality. He enjoys reading and learning. I can honestly say that I owe much of Connor's experiences to The Goddard School®. You have done a spectacular job....you have created such a learning, free and fun environment. The moment you walk through the doors you can feel it. My Connor talks about Miss Ellen, Miss Kim and Miss Jen all of the time. Both my husband and I are extremely happy that we chose your Goddard School for our son, Steven. He enjoyed being in Miss Chrissy and Miss Stacey's Get Set class. He loved being in Miss Ellen's class last year. He had a terrific time with her and spoke of her quite often at home. He was always excited to share with us what "Miss Ellen 'teached' him".
This year we are very fortunate to have Miss Jen for a teacher. I know it has been only a few days since school has begun, but I can tell that he is going to have another terrific year. We really appreciate all of the dedication and hard work from your teachers. As a teacher myself, I know what it is like to work with children. It is such a rewarding job; however, it is certainly not an easy one. Your staff is always so friendly and welcoming. You have created a very nurturing environment for the children. It is also nice to see that both you and Mr. Ralph, as owners, are so involved with the kids.
