"Back-to-school" isn't just for big kids anymore! Fall is a great time to introduce your 3 or 4 year old to the fun, exciting world of preschool! Our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs help friends prepare for successful entry into any public or private Kindergarten program. We learn through play (the Piaget way) by having a healthy blend of teacher-directed and child-directed activities. Our relationship with the local elementary schools ensures that our daily activities are in concert with what little ones need to know for Kindergarten. The "Goddard Guide to Getting Along" helps friends understand patience and compassion. We still have limited availability for fall. Call to schedule a tour, or just stop in.
We just wrapped up another amazing summer camp. "Hooray for the USA" focused on eight action-packed and history-filled states. During Alaska Week we enjoyed a visit from The Carolina Raptor Center, complete with story telling and "actors," including live owls, hawks and vultures! What would Hawaii Week have been without a hula lesson? After our hula show and lessons, we made our own delicious fruit kabobs. California Week featured a Salt Water Petting Farm and lessons about protecting our oceans. And for snack?...grapes and cheese, of course! We haven't decided on our camp for next year, but one thing's for sure...it will be filled with colorful projects, lively guests and plenty of giggles.
