What an exciting year we're having! All of our children are enjoying visits from Mr. Nigel. Each week we get a better understanding of tempo, rhythm, volume and a real appreciation for the different sounds many instruments make. Our Junior Kindergarteners are also enjoying weekly visits from Mr. Dima at The Dance Center. They've been working on Basic Cha Cha, Jive and Samba! They can't wait to show their dance moves to parents and friends this holiday season.
We also had a BIG Halloween surprise. Each of our friends got a pumpkin seed. Children whispered a special message to their seeds and told them to grow big and strong. Our friends then gave their seeds a little kiss and tossed their seeds out into the grass. Guess what...the next day our playground was filled with wonderful baby pumpkins! Kind words and love really do promote growth!
