The Goddard School can make a positive difference in your child's life. Our warm, loving atmosphere features year-round half-day and full-day programs ranging from two to five days. Our half-day program runs from 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM, and our full-day programs run from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM and are certified by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). What does this mean? For starters, every room in our School has at least one teacher with a degree. Goddard also offers a nationally recognized educational program to help your son or daughter reach their potential.

Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child from six weeks of age through pre-k. We also offer a summer program for children up to ten years of age. Our degreed teachers and faculty create a loving, nurturing atmosphere while incorporating fun and exciting learning experiences. Daily lesson plans are designed to meet the needs of the 'whole' child, which our faculty brings to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their own individual needs and abilities.

Our state-of-the-art custom-designed building has been planned to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. Two separate playgrounds and our new indoor gym have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age.

School owners Dave and Amber O'Brien have three children of their own. Amber is a former elementary school teacher who has a master's degree in reading. As a result, the entire theme of the School is The Joy of Reading. Mystery readers visit classrooms with new and exciting stories, and parents are encouraged to drop by any time to share a special moment with their children.
