Each classroom for a science experiment will be given different veggies that the teacher will cut open for the children to explore what they find inside each vegetable. Then the older classrooms can record their findings.

Each classroom will pass around the book Growing Vegetable Soup by Lois Ehlert. The teachers will read it to the children during the day where it shares things about different veggies they may have learned about through the week.

To celebrate National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day each classroom will be provided with chocolate chip cookies to have as a special snack. Also, the teacher will have an activity planned that has to do with chocolate chip cookies.

Yummy! Each classroom were given grapes for the children to get creative with. The children used the grapes as a coloring tool. They also may have a taste too.

Each class will put a sign up sheet for children to bring in different fruits so during the day they can talk about what each fruit is and then make a big class fruit salad to enjoy for a tasty, healthy snack.
