Our Director, Sandy, has served as a "Director Mentor" in a program for new Goddard School Directors from 2005-Present.
Welcome to The Goddard School for Early Childhood Development! The Goddard School located in Fenton has been open since May 2000. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 6:00pm year round. In January 2010 we opened our expansion which includes an additional classroom and a gross motor room where the children circulate throughout the week doing planned activities. This is also an area where the children are able to play when it's cold, raining or snowing.
We offer a variety of programs convenient for parents who want the proven advantages of a high quality preschool education for their children. Our curriculum, the FLEX Learning Program, has been accredited for excellence in learning by CITA/AdvancED, the world's largest and most selective accreditation organization.

We have added extra curriculum to our Learning Domains at no additional cost to our families, which include: Goddard Guide to Getting Along, Building Language for Literacy, Big Book Science Series, American Sign Language, Second Language-Spanish, Music Preludes, The Goddard B.A.S.E. Fitness Program, Yoga for Kids, Nutrition Program, Everyday Math and Children's Progress Academic Assessment.
Our school faculty is filled with experienced teachers trained in elementary education, early childhood education or child development. The teachers use the Developmental Guidelines provided as a framework around the core learning needs and goals. This allows the teachers to take ownership of the learning process, write their own lesson plans and be creative. Areas of growth and development are highlighted on your child's daily "My Day," which our teachers bring to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.
