Theresa M--DIRECTOR - I have been the Director since 2006. It has been a wonderful 4 years. I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from Schoolcraft College in Michigan. I have over 17 years experience teaching and in school management.
The Goddard experience has been my most enjoyable years because I love to emphasize the quality care and environment for the children.
Michele B--Assistant Director - My childcare experience includes over 15 years of being a director or a teacher. I have my CDA degree in Childcare and an Associates degree in Accounting. I began with The Goddard School® prior to their opening and helped open the school. My job also involves overseeing the Health & Safety of our School by ensuring all State and Goddard health and hygiene processes are followed.
Angie M. - Infant Room Lead Teacher Angie has worked in the Infant room for over a year and absolutely loves it! She has worked in the childcare industry for over six years. Angie is currently pursuing her CDA Credential!
Lauren S.-First Steps Lead Teacher Lauren has her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. Before moving to Knoxville from Pennsylvania, she worked in childcare for 3 years. She has experience working with children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Lauren is enjoying her time with our First Steps group and loves to watch each child grow and learn!
Jen B. - Toddler 2 Lead Teacher Jen has been the Lead Teacher in our Toddler 2 classroom for three years now. She has a Bachelor's degree in Education from Wesleyan College. Jen's previous experience includes teaching 1st grade and working with some specialized reading programs. She loves being on The Goddard School team!
Erika C. - Get Set Lead Teacher Erika has worked in our School for over a year. She started out in the First Steps room before moving on to the Get Set room as the afternoon assistant and then being promoted to the Lead Teacher position. She has her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Development and is currently pursuing her teaching degree.
Catie W. - Preschool 1 Lead Teacher Catie has been a teacher at The Goddard School located in Farragut for over two years now. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Western Carolina University. Catie loves working here and is especially excited to provide this quality education for her own child.
Chad B. - Preschool 2 Lead Teacher Chad has been a part of The Goddard School team for over three years. He has been the Lead Teacher for two years, and has worked with children for close to seven years. Chad pursued a Bachelor's degree in Music and has received his CDA Credential. He loves to watch children explore and learn new things!
Allison W. - Pre-K Lead Teacher Allison has been on The Goddard School team for almost three years now and loves every day of it! She has been involved in early childhood education for 12 years as a teacher, curriculum coordinator and director. Allison has a Bachelor's degree and has been pursuing her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. After years in private early childhood facilities and teaching for Head Start, she is so excited to be a part of The Goddard School team!
Chantese J. - Pre-K Lead Teacher Chantese loves being a part of The Goddard School! She has a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Cumberland University, where she received a scholarship to play basketball. Chantese is happy to be a part of The Goddard School family. Her goal for the children is to challenge them to try new things and inspire them to do what is right.
