Welcome to The Goddard School® located in Fanwood, New Jersey! We are located at 324 South Avenue, approximately 300 yards east of the Fanwood train station and just minutes from downtown Westfield. (Our parking and entrance are located in the rear of the building.)

As residents of the local community, we are pleased to provide full- and part-time preschool options for our family and yours! We are open year round 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, offering both half day and full day programs for two, three, four or five days per week. Please call to check specific availability. We currently offer programs for children ranging in age from six weeks through six years, including a full day Kindergarten program.

Our mission is to provide parents with total peace of mind by:

  • Encouraging a lifelong love of learning.

    Some of the ways we seek to accomplish these goals are by:
  • Providing a loving and nurturing environment where children feel free to explore,
  • Tailoring our theme-based curriculum to be developmentally appropriate for each child,
  • Communicating with parents on a daily basis, including detailed daily activity reports, and
  • Making learning fun!

    Our FLEXTM Learning Program emphasizes both the Fun Learning EXperience, as well as the FLEXibility that is provided by having degreed teachers prepare customized lesson plans utilizing our curricular framework that are tailored to the needs of the individual children in each class. We focus on the total development of your child, including social, emotional, intellectual and physical development. In addition, our program includes enrichment activities such as:

  • Nutrition
  • Manners
