Employee of the Month:  Miss Elana
Congratulations to Miss Elana of Preschool. Miss Elana brings lots of fun, creativity and learning to our three-year-olds!

Miss Wendy, Owner - Operator -
Along with my husband, “Mr. Richie", I have been the proud owner of The Goddard School® located in Exton since May 2002. I graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I have three children. In my spare time, I cheer for my sons' hockey and baseball teams, and I take my daughter to gymnastics and ice skating. My hobbies include reading (I’m part of a book club), antiquing and taking cooking classes.

Miss Melissa Owner - Operator -
I have been with Goddard since May 2002. I began as a teacher, and have enjoyed 5 years as a Director. I am thrilled to now be a Co-Owner and anticipate great things in the future. I graduated from West Chester University with my degree in Elementary Education. I love working with all of the children and teachers at Goddard. When I am not at work I enjoy visiting my family in Florida and relaxing at the beach.

Miss Stephanie Director -
My name is Stephanie Lane and I am excited to be a member of the Goddard team!I have a degree in Elementary Education and have eight years of experience teaching in the classroom. I look forward to getting to know all of the children, parents and staff members of The Goddard School® family!

Miss Tracey, Infants -
I teach in the Infants classroom. I have been with Goddard since October of 1995 and truly enjoy teaching! I have my CDA credential for teaching Infants-Toddlers and plan to continue taking classes.

Miss Joann Infants -
I have worked with young children for the past four years on a volunteer basis, and taught preschool for the last year. I am excited to be attending West Chester University in the spring for Special Education.

Miss Ashley Infants -
I am very excited to begin my career at Goddard in the Infant Room. After obtaining my bachelor's degree from Syracuse University, I knew I wanted to work with young children. I am thrilled to have been given this opportunity, and look forward to meeting all of the families here at The Goddard School®.

Miss Manisha, Infants -
I have worked with Goddard since June 2005 when my son enrolled in Pre-K. I was a volunteer in the Pre-K room throughout the year. I have my Bachelor's degree in Education from India where I worked with children in the elementary schools for six years. I am excited to renew my career in the Infant Room, and am looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Miss Brynn First Steps -
I am so excited be a part of the First Steps classroom! I love working with children of all ages, especially the one-year-olds! It is amazing to see each child's first steps and first words!

Miss Aimee, Pre-Toddler -
I have been working in the Pre-Toddler room at Goddard since November 2001. I have earned my Child Development Associate's certification while working at Goddard. I have worked with children for 17 years and I love them! In my spare time, I spend time with my son, and doing projects around my house.

Miss Bridget Pre-Toddlers -
I am the newest member of the pre-toddler team! I joined Goddard in March after teaching children with disabilities for the past two years.

Miss Cassie Toddlers -
I am the newest addition to the Toddler Team. I recently moved to the area from Baltimore, where I was a volunteer educator for the National Aquarium. I am looking forward to a fun-filled year with my new toddler friends.

Miss Heidi Toddlers -
I graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in English and a minor in Communications. I began my career here at The Goddard School® in July of 2008 and was thrilled to be apart of the infant room team! Now that I am in my second year, I feel that I am up for the challenge that Toddlers will present. In my free time, I enjoy doing volunteer work and going to the beach. I also am planning on going back to school for Special Education in the near future.

Miss Katie Get Set -
I am very excited to be joining The Goddard School® as a Get Set teacher. I recently graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelors degree in Professional Studies/Elementary Education. I look forward to my first year of teaching and meeting lots of new friendly faces.

Miss Elana - Preschool -
I am excited to become part of the Preschool family and Goddard team! I graduated from Cabrini College with majors in both Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. Through out my experiences I have had the opportunity to observe and work with several teachers and students in a variety of settings.I am currently taking classes towards my Masters Degree. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my large, extended family!

Mr. Doug Preschool >i> -
I am excited to be joining The Goddard School team! I hold a Bachelor's Degree from Appalachian State University in North Carolina where I double majored in Education and Theatre. I've worked with children of all ages both in the classroom and on stage, and am thrilled to be joining the team!

Mr. Matt, Pre-Kindergarten -
This is my second year with Goddard and I am thrilled to work with the exciting four-year-olds! I graduated from Kutztown University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education. Over the years, I have worked with a diverse group of students in a variety of settings, including a summer camp in the Dominican Republic! In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors to hike, camp and explore. Most importantly, teaching is my passion, and I can’t wait for the school year at Goddard.

Miss Jill, Prekindergarten -
I have been with Goddard since August of 1999! I have worked in the Get Set room for the last four years and have over 15 years experience working with children. I have completed several child development courses and worked in preschools before working at Goddard.

Miss Kristy, Junior Kindergarten -
I am excited to start another school year as part of the Goddard family. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Elizabethtown College. I have spent the past two years teaching Kindergarten in Orlando, Florida. I love teaching children and I especially love dancing, singing and laughing with them!

Miss Christy Junior Kindergarten -
I am thrilled to join Goddard's Junior Kindergarten team. After spending time teaching in both the Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes, I am excited for the challenge an older class will bring!

Miss Jessica Floater -
I am very excited to be working at The Goddard School®. I spent six months teaching abroad and have come back to the states with tons of energy to share with the children!

Miss Marly Closer -
I am currently majoring in Early Childhood and Special Education at West Chester University. I have been working with young children for seven years in my Pennsylvania hometown. I volunteer at the Center School, and have worked in several other preschools before coming to Goddard.

Miss Kristin - Closer -
I am currently a student at West Chester University. I am studying psychology and hope to someday fulfill a career in counseling for children. I love working with children and I am very excited to be here at Goddard!

Miss Caitlin T. Closer -
I will be spending the afternoons in the Toddler and Get Set classrooms. I have spent the past 7 years working with children and loved every minute of it! I am a junior at West Chester University, majoring in communicative disorders. I enjoy spending my spare time with my family and friends! I look forward to the start of the school year at Goddard, and getting to know all of the children!

Mr. Dave Floater -
I am very excited to join The Goddard School of Exton! I look forward to meeting each of the families here at the school, as I float between classrooms this spring!
