Check us out...
Each year we integrate new programs for our little learners. This year, we are pleased to announce our PreKindergarten teacher, Mr. Matt as our new art instructor. He will work with us on creating imaginative works of art while building our fine motor skills, and confidence! Mr. Matt will also introduce our children to artists from different time periods. We have also incorporated a program called Healthy Kids to teach our young ones about nutrition and making good food choices. Lastly, we will introduce world cultures with our Trampoline™ Scholar World Cultures and Geography Program. Our teachers will introduce multicultural diversity through “voyages” that explore history, geography, culture, language, art and symbols of the six inhabited continents of the world.
Imagine a classroom where children in classes Infants through Kindergarten are learning about the ancient history of cave art while creating their own cave art! With our Trampoline™ Scholar Art Program For Young Minds our teachers can introduce any one of six period based sections covering art and history from cave art to the present.
Through a variety of age-appropriate lessons, games, songs and activities, the Goddard Guide to Getting Along™ - The Importance Of Courtesy & Respect program designed by Trampoline™, allows our teachers to facilitate learning of the essential skills of friendship, compassion, cooperation and kindness. Implementing these guidelines in the classroom while role-playing, leading by example, problem solving and talking about courtesy and good manners, only helps us to continue our positive influence with your children.
Students in Get Set, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and Junior Kindergarten receive weekly Spanish lessons taught by a fluent Spanish Teacher, Senora Teri DiStefano. Her lessons are learned through TPR (Total Physical Response) using words, games, songs, cultural activities and crafts. Students in our Infant, First Steps, Pre-Toddler and Toddler classes continue to have foreign language incorporated into their daily lesson plans using the Explorer Trampolin™ A Spanish Program For Young Minds curriculum, and the Time to Sign American Sign Language Program.
Shape-Up and Stay Fit: Learning in Motion
We're staying in shape at The Goddard School® located in Exton. We work out with a different active visitor each week including fitness with Mr. Len of Lil Sports, LLP. Miss Sharon continues to be our Yoga instructor and we are excited to extend her Apple Blossom Yoga program designed by Yoga School, Inc. to all Goddard children! Her program enhances cross-curricular learning for children of all ages. Using nature, animals and imagination, young learners will begin to show improvements in focus, balance, creativity, flexibility, body awareness and control. Mr. Dave from The Music Experience for Young Children offers additional interactive movement through music appreciation and dancing. We were thrilled last year at how well our teachers and students of all ages integrated Goddard’s B.A.S.E. Fitness program, developed by SPARK (Sports, Play, & Active Recreation for Kids), and we plan to keep up the action this year too! This program is specifically designed and equipped for preschool children with four curricular goals that address their physical fitness: B=Balance, A=Agility, S=Strength, and E=Endurance. The children enjoy the jumping, bouncing and stretching they get to do.

We are a 4 STAR Keystone STARS facility!!! Over the past four years we have been enrolled in the Pennsylvania Keystone STARS program. The goal of this program is to improve the quality of the care we give to your child. The STARS program provides Standards, Training, Assistance, Resources, and Support to help our school meet these goals. Through Keystone STARS we are committed to increasing our standard of care and promoting a quality childcare environment that will increase social and emotional development, learning skills and school readiness.
Kindergarten or Bust
We began our private full-day Kindergarten program in 2004! Our Kindergarten is an full day program with the bonus of built-in before and after-school care. Our licensed teacher, Miss Kristy, and her Co-Teacher Miss Christy are excited to help their students learn and grow this year. With our small class size, each child receives plenty of individual attention. There are so many benefits to private Kindergarten; we welcome your inquiries.
