Sarah Falardeau - Sarah is the on-site owner of The Goddard School located in Erie. She has a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and has worked as a critical care nurse for thirteen years.
Sarah and her husband Brian are the parents of two young children and recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. As residents of the Erie area, Sarah and Brian are happy to be able to provide Goddard's outstanding program to the children in this community.
Jennifer B. - Jennifer is one of our Educational Directors at The Goddard School located in Erie. She holds an associate's degree in early childhood education and a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences. Jennifer has over eighteen years of experience in early childhood education, including twelve years as a Director and Assistant Director. Jennifer is passionate about children getting the best and most positive learning experience in their early years to build a strong foundation for their educational future. She is looking forward to working with teachers and parents to support every child as they grow and gain a love of learning!
Amanda T. - Amanda is one of our Educational Directors. She has her associate's degree in early childhood education and her Colorado Director certificate. Amanda was a preschool teacher for three years before becoming part of our directorial team. Amanda plays a big role in our Quality Assurance program. She works closely with our staff to ensure that we provide a safe and nurturing educational environment everyday.
Lisa Y. (Bear Cubs) - Lisa is the Lead Teacher in our Infant room. She holds an associate's degree in early childhood education and a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado in speech, language and hearing science. Lisa has fourteen years of experience and believes that in order for children to be successful, they need “healthy attachments, compassionate caretakers and an environment in which they can succeed and learn.” She is proud to provide both a nurturing and educational environment for all of our infants.
Kayla B. (Bear Cubs) - Kayla is the Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She is pursuing a degree in early childhood education. Kayla has experience as a nanny and in a preschool setting. She enjoys many aspects of working with your children. She says that children always put a smile on your face!
Amy L. (Red Pandas) - Amy is the Lead Teacher in our First Steps classroom. Amy holds a bachelors degree in elementary education with a music endorsement. Amy believes every child is an individual with unique needs and learning styles, and a classroom that fosters creativity through exploration is essential.
Heather F. (Red Pandas) - Heather is the Assistant Teacher in our First Steps classroom. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Colorado. Heather has over 10 years of experience working with young children. Her focus has been on infants and toddlers. Heather approaches each child as an individual and prefers to speak to children on their level with gentleness and care. She loves the idea that any child's bad day can be turned around with bubbles!
Rachel S. (Koalas) - Rachel is the Co-Teacher in our Toddler classroom. She is currently pursuing a degree in elementary education and has taken classes in early childhood education. Rachel loves seeing the joy on a child's face when he or she learns something new. She enjoys working with children not only because of what she can teach them, but what they can teach her.
Mandi E. (Koalas) - Mandi is the Co-Teacher in the Toddler classroom. She holds a degree in psychology and has several years of experience as a nanny. Mandi has completed early childhood education classes and holds her Colorado Group Leader certification. Mandi enjoys being a part of each child's education as they explore the world around them.
Jessi M. (Polar Bears) - Jessi is the Co-Teacher in our Get Set classroom. She is pursuing a degree in early childhood education and is Colorado Group Leader qualified. Jessi has been working with young children for the past five years. She believes all children learn best when teachers adapt their activities to fit the individual child. Children are excited to learn and Jessi loves to see the spark in their eye when they learn something new!
Bree B. (Polar Bears) -
Bree is the Co-Teacher in our Get Set classroom. Bree holds her associate's degree in early childhood education and has worked with young children for the past seven years. Bree believes children learn best through play. They learn cause and effect, natural consequences, team building, rules and much more while having fun.
Christi H. (Pandas) - Christi is the Lead Teacher in the Preschool 1 classroom. She has completed classes in early childhood education and is Group Leader qualified. Christi believes that children flourish when they are given the necessary tools and an encouraging and supportive learning environment.
Melissa R. (Pandas) - Melissa is the Assistant Teacher in our Preschool 1 classroom. Melissa has worked with young children in different settings over the past six years. Melissa believes that children learn and retain more through hands-on activities. She loves to develop new activities that are engaging, challenging and a lot of fun!
Melissa C. (Spectacled Bears) - Melissa is the Lead Teacher in our Preschool 2 classroom. She holds a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and has completed early childhood education classes. She has several years of experience working with young children. Melissa believes the most important thing a teacher can do is support a child's curiosity and drive to learn.
Samantha (Spectacled Bears) - Samantha is the Co-Teacher in our Preschool 2 classroom. She holds a bachelor's degree in human and family services from Colorado State University. Samantha has worked with young children in a preschool setting for four years. Samantha believes teachers not only educate children, but also teach them to be emotionally and socially secure. Samantha enjoys children's outlook on life and their honesty.
Lindsey H. (Black Bears) - Lindsey is the Lead Teacher in our Pre-Kindergarten class. Lindsey holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and has recently moved to Colorado. She enjoys working with children because of their unconditional love. She is excited to provide an educational and nurturing environment for our Pre-Kindergarten children.
Robin B. (Black Bears) - Robin is the Assistant Teacher in our Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She has a bachelor's degree in sociology and her Colorado substitute teaching license. Miss Robin has worked with young children for over 20 years, most recently as a kindergarten enrichment specialist. She believes the most important thing a teacher can do is to be patient and loving. Children are sponges and are constantly learning. Miss Robin enjoying turning even the simplest things into teachable moments.
Danette S. (Brown Bears) - Danette is the Lead Teacher in our Jr. Kindergarten program. She holds a bachelor's degree in sociology and a master's degree in early childhood and elementary education. Miss Danette believes everyone can learn if given the right encouragement and atmosphere. She enjoys reading and hearing children laugh and tell stories.
Shelly (Brown Bears) - Shelly is the Assistant Teacher in our Jr. Kindergarten class. She holds a bachelor's degree in sociology and psychology and a master's degree in adult education. In addition to having several years of experience working with young children, Shelly is currently completing her degree in early childhood education. She feels that the teacher’s job is to help children maximize their talents. All people have endless potential!
Linda R. - Linda is one of our Support Teachers. Linda is Group Leader qualified and is completing her para-education certification. Linda has several years of experience with preschool-aged children. She believes in being accepting and loving and providing children with a safe and structured environment where they can grow and learn.
Jessica L. - Jessica is one of our Support Teachers. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. She is currently pursuing her Elementary Education teaching certificate. Jessica prides herself in creating an environment for children that encourages growth in life skills, education, friendships and self-esteem.
Jessica S. - Jessica S. is one of our Support Teachers. She holds a degree in early childhood education and has eight years of experience working with young children. Jessica loves to watch the children as they grow into their own people and believes children should have as many opportunities as possible to laugh and explore.
