Alec Yeo - Owner As the proud owner of The Goddard School since 1998, I am happy to introduce to you my Directors and Faculty.  They are truly the people that have helped me establish and maintain our excellent program for over 12 years.  Please be sure to take a look at their brief introductions and call to schedule a time to come in and meet them.

Establishing a place to work that is fun, fair and respectful has been a goal of mine since we opened.  With many of our staff having taught here at The Goddard School for 8+ years, I am pleased to have met this goal and will continue into the future.

I am actively involved with the children on a daily basis and wouldn't have it any other way.  While I also maintain all the financial, security and supervisory roles, my favorite time is the time in the classroom.

My wife, Heather and I have three children and we use our personal parenting experiences to assist us in our understanding of children and their parents' daily challenges.

My BA is in Child Psychology and I use this background and training daily to enrich the lives of children here at The Goddard School.  I have been an EMT since 1988 and worked at Suburban Hospital in the Emergency Rom for 8 years prior to opening the school.  This background, combined with the years of volunteering for various EMS services pays off with the bumps and bruises that tend to occur as children explore their outside world.

I coach three soccer teams and volunteer as a child advocate through the county CASA program for foster children.  I currently serve as a Carroll County Planning and Zoning Commission Board member and am on the board of directors for our community HOA.

I am committed to providing a safe, loving environment for children to learn and grow.  One of the ways I do this is by maintaining a happy, respectful and fair place for people to work.  Consistent staff helps provide the stability and knowledge necessary to guide each child, individually, as they develop through our program.
