The Goddard School® located at 100 Farm Lane in Doylestown offers full and part time year round programs for children six-weeks-old through Kindergarten. We offer a full time Kindergarten program , as well as a Kindergarten Enrichment Program. Our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Programs are licensed by the Department of Education.
The early childhood years are a very special time in your child’s development. In recognition of the crucial importance of these years, The Goddard School located on Farm Lane in Doylestown has created a program tailored to meet the needs of your child at each stage of development.
The Goddard School’s philosophy is to provide an atmosphere suited to the development of self-esteem, confidence and the love of learning. By combining the best possible equipment and professionally educated faculty in an environment specifically designed for young children, we provide an outstanding program.
Our Head Teachers hold degrees and are certified in Early Childhood Development or Elementary Education.
Our educational curriculum includes language arts, cognitive skills, science and nature, social science, creative art, computer lab, music/movement and motor activities. We have also added the Scholastic Building Language for Literacy program,B.A.S.E., a physical fitness program; Trampoline's Spanish language program; Time to Sign, an American signing program; The Goddard Guide to Getting Along, which fosters the acquisition of Friendship, Compassion, Cooperation and Kindness; Science Companion, a science curriculum for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten utilized by the Central Bucks School District; Growing Up Wild, a science curriculum for Toddlers and Preschool; Handwriting without Tears, and Music Preludes, an early childhood music literacy curriculum and a special weekly music program.
Our Summer Camp Program offers swimming and water play, soccer camp, a summer music program and exciting weekly visitors including live theater performance, magic show, puppet show, petting zoo and much more!
We are located in a quiet and beautiful complex, complete with walking trails and two ponds abundant with geese, ducks and fish. Nature walks and outdoor exploration are an essential part of our program.
We have recently renovated our two, age appropriate, outside playground areas with state-of-the-art materials to provide the ultimate in safety for our children.
