Instead of “Duck, Duck, Goose,” we will play “Seed, Seed, Sprout!” This game is an excellent way to develop our cognitive skills as we learn to follow our teacher’s instructions on how to play the game.

Let’s create our own paper gardens by gluing grass on paper and then adding pipe cleaners and torn pieces of paper for the flowers. After we are finished we will learn the Spanish words for “flower,” “grass” and “leaves.”

We will cut out pedals from yellow paper and then glue them around a paper plate to form a flower. We will then add sunflower seeds to the center to form the flower's stigma.
