The Goddard School located in Colorado Springs is the premier private preschool of choice. In addition to providing quality educational programs for children from six weeks to six years old, we also offer an excellent summer program for children up to age nine, as well as a before/after-school kindergarten enrichment program for children who attend kindergarten at several nearby District 20 schools (we provide transportation).

The Goddard School will make a positive difference in your child's life. We offer a clean, safe environment, with low student-to-teacher ratios and highly qualified, certified teachers who design and implement leading edge educational programs based on the developmental learning approach of Piaget. Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year round extended day program from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We offer a variety of part-time schedules in addition to full-time. We also offer a (much-deserved) discount to active military personnel, as well as a multi-child discount.

We are Liz and Darin Butler, the proud owners of The Goddard School located at 8560 Scarborough Drive. One or both of us are typically present at the school during operating hours, which is another assurance that your child will be receiving the best education and care available. We are absolutely committed to providing the finest quality preschool education to your child. As parents of two children ourselves, we understand the importance of choosing the right preschool. Our program is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of children between the ages of six weeks and six years. Our loving and nurturing teachers are experienced and trained in Early Childhood Education, Child Development and other education related fields. Areas of growth and development are highlighted on our daily lesson plans, which our faculty brings to life in appropriate and attainable ways through hands-on, real life experiences. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities. Our curriculum includes the following programs at no extra charge:

    Unique to our industry, our school undergoes frequent and unannounced Quality Assurance inspections performed by full-time Goddard Quality Assurance inspectors. These inspections help to ensure the safety and educational quality of our school.

    Our new, state-of-the-art custom designed building provides a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment for your children. It features bright sunlit classrooms with many windows and a clean, colorful and stimulating decor. We have two separate age-appropriate playgrounds, with natural grass lawns and poured rubberized surfaces designed to safely challenge and delight your children. All of our doors are equipped with Fingersafe®, “The best new safety product to hit the market in 50 years," as described by Joe Kaplan of the National Safety Council. Fingersafe produces door hinge guards that prevent children’s fingers from being pinched or crushed at the hinge end of doors. We have a biometric security system, and a variety of cameras, alarms, and security procedures to help keep your child absolutely safe.

    From the intersection of Powers Boulevard and Research Parkway, drive West on Research toward the mountains. Turn right at the first street, which is Scarborough Drive. Then turn into the first driveway on the right, which is shared with a church and two office buildings. You'll see The Goddard School straight ahead! Park in front and come on in!
