- - What are the qualifications of our Goddard School lead teachers and directors? We thought you’d never ask!

Ms. Ashley, Private Kindergarten Teacher - Ms. Ashley is a licensed teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Mathematics, twice making the Dean’s List. Ms. Ashley leads our special Private Kindergarten Program focused on Math, Science and Literacy. 

Ms. Gracee, Lead Teacher - Creative Crocodiles
Ms. Gracee leads our Pre-K II program and also serves as our school-age tutor.  She received her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Colorado Christian University and is qualified to teach preschool through third grade.  Prior to joining The Goddard School, Ms. Gracee worked in a Kindergarten and second grade classroom as well as in the special education field. 

Ms. Jamie, Lead Teacher, Laughing Leopards - Ms. Jamie leads our pre-kindergarten program.  She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in early childhood. She has many years of teaching experience, covering grades from preschool through 8th grade. Jamie’s love of teaching started early. She has a passion for preparing children for kindergarten, and is excited to lead our pre-kindergarten program.

Ms. Michelle O., Teacher, Happy Hippos -
Ms. Michelle leads our early preschool program.  She has a degree from Pueblo Community College with an emphasis in early childhood education.  Having a three-year old of her own makes her uniquely qualified to lead our early preschool program.  Ms. Michelle's patient and nurturing approach to teaching makes transitions from the toddler program to early preschool a breeze.

Ms. Caitlin,  Associate Teacher, Creative Crocodiles - Ms Caitlin received he degree in education from Waldorf College.  Prior to joining The Goddard School, Caitlin worked with children in a variety of a roles including summer camp, physical education and coaching roles.  She is especially keen to bring a love of the outdoors and physical fitness to the program and is a great addition to our Pre-K program.

Ms. Lindsay, Lead Teacher, Jolly Giraffes -
Ms. Lindsay has a bachelor's degree in elementary education  from Grand Valley State University and is a licensed teacher. Prior to joining The Goddard School, Lindsay worked at a local charter school and has experience working with preschool age children as well.  She is passionate about her career and it shows!  

Ms. Michelle, Lead Teacher, Rowdy Rhinos -
Ms. Michelle leads our toddler program.  She has bachelor's degrees in both early childhood and psychology. She also just completed a master's degree. Prior to joining The Goddard School, Michelle worked for several public and private preschools in Colorado Springs.

Ms. Bethany - Teacher, Rowdy Rhinos
Ms. Bethany works in our toddler program and is a calming, nurturing force in one of our most active classrooms.  Ms. Bethany is currently finishing her Child Development Associates specifically focused on the toddler age group.

Ms. Jennifer, Lead Teacher, Cuddly Cubs -
Ms. Jennifer leads our infant/toddler program.  She has a bachelor's degree from American Intercontinental University and has completed post-secondary coursework in early childhood education including curriculum development, child development and guidance strategies.  She has a strong passion for developing confident learners and building self-help skills in our youngest classroom.  As a parent of two children herself, she understands the importance of providing a nurturing environment for a child's early experience in school setting.

Ms. Tanya, Co-Teacher - Marvelous Monkey
Ms. Tanya has a Bachelor's degree in elementary education.  Prior to joining The Goddard School, Ms. Tanya worked in several private preschools with both infant and toddlers.

Ms. Kirsten, Director  - Ms. Kirsten has a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and  is “director qualified” for the state of Colorado. Prior to joining The Goddard School, Kirsten worked in a variety of public and private preschools and was a nanny for four years while pursuing her Bachelor’s degree.

Ms. Heidi, Director -
Ms. Heidi is one of the Directors of The Goddard School located in Colorado Springs. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder and has completed post-graduate coursework in early childhood education.  In addition, Heidi has over 15 years of experience working in the early childhood education field.  Prior to joining The Goddard School, Heidi led a successful private preschool for 10 years.  Heidi's passion, enthusiasm and dedication to early childhood education is evident in her commitment to the field.
