Cathy Jo - On-Site Owner - I am the parent of three children and recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment.
I hold a Masters in Business Management, and over 17 years experience in business management. I am a member of the local Chamber of Commerce, the YMCA and BNI (Business Network International). Our family has lived in Collierville for over seven years and enjoy spending time together reading, swimming, bicycling, dancing to music and playing outside.
I'm excited and proud to be a part of Goddard and am committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children in this area.

Shelly - Education Director     Shelly attended the University of Memphis and obtained both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Early Childhood Education.  Shelly has over eight years' experience in both teaching and administration. She has also administered testing for admissions including KSEALS, KABC, KTEA and CPAA. 

Olivia - Assistant Director
Ms. Olivia has many years of experience in working both in office settings and with children.  She holds an associate's degree in early childhood education and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. 

Gloria - Infant Lead Teacher Ms. Gloria has over 20 years of experience working with Infants. She has her CDA from Southwest Community College and also has gone through T.E.C.T.A. training.

Maggie - Infant and First Step Assistant Teacher  Maggie retired in 2008 after 35 years in oncology and a number of other interests in the medical field. She loves assisting your young children!

Brana - Afternoon Infant Teacher Brana is a retired Emergency Management Supervisor working toward acquiring teaching certification in Elementary Education. She has worked with toddlers, preschoolers, and school-agers for over five years.She has successfully completed coursework in Early Childhood Development and completed numerous hours of on-the-job skills training. As an Educational Assistant for Shelby County Schools, Brana tutors and substitute teaches for Pre-K through 5th grade.

Nanci - First Steps Lead Teacher Nanci is so excited to be teaching in the First Steps classroom!  She holds a Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University. She has worked in Early Childhood Education for 19 years everywhere from California to Memphis. Nanci looks forward to meeting you and your children.

Erin - First Steps Assistant Teacher Erin graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in Preschool and Childcare Administration. She has many years' experience working with children of all ages. Erin  believes children are our future which is why she loves working with them!

Sunshine - Young Toddlers Lead Teacher Sunshine has a Bachelor’s degree from Christian Brothers University. She is planning to pursue her Master’s degree in teaching as well. She has over seven years' experience in childcare and has worked with infants and preschoolers.

 Kenyada - Young Toddler Assistant Teacher Ms. Kenyada is the teacher's assistant in the Young Toddler classroom with Ms. Sunshine.  Ms. Kenyada has six years of experience with young children and is working on her B.S. in early childhood.

Melissa - Get Set 1 Lead Teacher Ms. Melissa is the Lead Teacher in our Get Set 1 Classroom. Ms. Melissa has 15 years of experience with children and a B.S. in family relations and development.

LaRhonda - Get Set Assistant Teacher LaRhonda attended Southwest TN Community College for Early Childhood Education.  She has 13 years of experience working with all ages of children. She is so excited to be a part of The Goddard School.

Trenecia - Get Set Lead Teacher Ms. Trenecia has over 10 years' experience working with children from age 2 through school-age.  She holds her Bachelor's degree from Lane College and is working towards her Master's degree in Education. 

Whitney - Get Set 2 Assistant Teacher Ms. Whitney is the assistant teacher in the Get Set 2 classroom with Ms. Trecy.  Ms. Whitney has two years of experience with young children and a B.S. in child development.

April - Preschool Assistant Teacher Ms. April is the assistant teacher in the Preschool 1 classroom with Ms. Tess.  Ms. April has earned her B.S. in early childhood education. Ms. April has worked with children in different capacities over the past four years.

Kaitlin - Preschool Lead Teacher Kaitlin has a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology with a minor in American Ethnic Studies. She also recently earned her Master's in Teaching. She has over nine years' experience working with children ranging in age from six weeks to 13 years.

Lynley - Preschool Assistant Teacher Ms. Lynley graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She also has many years' experience working with young children.

Stefine - Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher  Stefine is a graduate of the University of Illinois from Urbana, Illinois. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development. Stefine has taught for five years and every day is a new adventure. She is excited to be teaching in the Preschool classroom at The Goddard School located in Collierville and experiencing new adventures with your family.

Anggie - Pre-K Lead Teacher Anggie relocated here from Oregon where she had taught for 30 years. She taught Special Education and Title One Reading. The last five years she taught Kindergarten.  Anggie is excited about the opportunity to work at The Goddard School and with your children.

Zohra - Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher Ms. Zohra earned her Master's degree in Science (Biochemistry). She also several years' training in Early Childhood Development. She has many years' experience working with children between the ages of 3 and 6 years old. 

Felicia - Teacher Assistant and Lunch Helper Felicia received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Concord State University in West Virginia. She has continued her education over the years to obtain a teaching certification from the state of New Jersey as well as a certification in radiologic technology.

Kayla - Teacher Assistant Kayla graduated from the University of Memphis with her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Learning. She has also earned her Tennessee teaching license which certifies her to teach children entering Pre-K to third grade.   

Lynn - Substitute Teacher Lynn has a CDA certificate and has attended many classes and seminars to keep current with the continuing education of children over the past 12 years, most of which she has spent working with young three year olds. 

Lana - Substitute Teacher Ms. Lana is a part-time substitute teacher.  She works in all classrooms in the school as needed.

Jennifer - Substitute Teacher Ms. Jennifer is a substitute teacher who works in all classrooms on an as needed basis. Ms. Jennifer joins The Goddard School with 20 years of experience with young children and also an associate's degree in early childhood.
