Jon and Jennie Brawn, Owners - We have been part of our local community for many years. We are proud parents of two school aged girls. When we're not being typical soccer parents, we enjoy skiing and camping with our family. We are happy to provide Goddard's outstanding program to the children in the community. Kathy, Director - I have twenty years experience in Early Childhood Education. I hold an Early Childhood Education Associates Degree and look forward to continuing my formal education to achieve a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education/Family Studies. I am committed to providing high quality child care and promoting the love of learning.
Kadi - Assistant Director - I have been teaching Early Education for six years. I am in the process of completing my AS in Early Childhood Development with plans of continuing to earn my BA in Education. I truly love working with children, they put a smile on my face every day; whether it is something funny that they said or their remarkable ability to transform something simple into something incredibly clever and creative. I am excited to be part of The Goddard School® and look forward to the opportunity to be a positive role model in the life of your child.
Connie, Infant Teacher - I have been involved in the lives of children for the last twenty-four years. Eleven of those years I provided care and nurturing in my home for children ages six weeks to twelve years. I have spent the last thirteen years in early childhood development as an infant teacher, discovering that it is my very favorite age group. The Goddard School® philosophy interests me and I look forward to the future working in their professional atmosphere.
Kim, First StepsTeacher - I have an Associates Degree in Early Education. I absolutely love being an influence in children's everyday learning. I look forward to getting to know each child and their family.
Cassie - First Steps Teacher - Cassie has loved working in the field of Early Childhood Education since her first experience during a career exploration program. She is currently taking college courses to obtain her degree in Education. Cassie looks forward to growing with your children at The Goddard School located in Clackamas and becoming the best teacher she can be.
Kelsey - First Steps Teacher - Kelsey is a student at Clackamas Community College, working to earn her transfer degree. She enjoys listening to music, riding horses, traveling and anything pertaining to art. Kelsey loves children’s crazy energy and the funny things they say. She loves sharing time with the children attending The Goddard School located in Clackamas!
Barbara - Kindergarten Teacher - I was a teacher in Missouri for nine years before moving to Portland. I graduated from Missouri Baptist University with both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I have a Master's degree in classroom teaching. I am looking forward to getting to know the wonderful families at The Goddard School®.
Jeanette - Get Set Teacher - Working with children has always been a career choice I was meant to do. Raising my two children is why I started an in-home childcare. When they went off to school, I started teaching for a Head Start Program. Through my years of experience, I have worked with children six weeks to twelve years of age and have enjoyed every minute. I have obtained my CDA, my Director credential and am currently working towards a degree in Early Education. As a teacher I am very excited to join a team that has such high goals and standards.
Bethany - Toddler Teacher - I have been working with children for six years. I absolutely love their energy and sense of wonder. I enjoy being part of their growth and development. I am currently working toward my teaching degree. I feel blessed to be a part of The Goddard School® and your children’s lives. Thank you for sharing them!
Stephanie - Toddler Teacher - I am a native Oregonian raised in Portland. I fell in love with kids when I started babysitting at 12 years old. I have my AS degree in Early Childhood Development and Family Studies. I hope to have a big family of my own one day. I consider it a great privilege to work at The Goddard School® and an honor to be involved in the lives of your children.
Meghan - Teacher - Meghan is currently working to earn a degree in Early Childhood Education. She started as a Teacher Assistant and volunteered to work with special needs children for five years. Meghan is excited to be a part of The Goddard School located in Clackamas and an element in your child’s lives!
Sonja - Get Set Teacher - Sonja has her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, and it is her goal to obtain her teaching credential and Master’s degree. She has worked with children for eight years in various settings. It is her privilege to be a part of the children’s lives at The Goddard School located in Clackamas. Children bring Sonja joy and happiness. She wishes to bring the children as much joy as possible in an educational setting.
Tasia - Teacher Assistant - Tasia enjoys spending time with children and is excited for the opportunity to work with your children at The Goddard School located in Clackamas. She is currently earning an Associate of Arts degree at Mt. Hood Community College and will be transferring to the Eastern Oregon’s Teacher Education Program in the near future.
Alyson - Pre-K Teacher - Alyson graduated from high school knowing she wanted to be a teacher. She continued her education at Clackamas Community College and transferred to Western Oregon University. Alyson student taught in Dallas, Oregon, and graduated from WOU with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She hopes to continue her education and obtain a Master’s degree in Education with a reading endorsement. Alyson loves to teach and learn from children and cannot wait to begin her career in education.
Sarah - Get Set Teacher - Sarah has wanted to work with children as long for as she can remember. Her mother has been a Second Grade teacher for over 30 years. She attended OSU to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with an option in Early Childhood Education. She is working towards earning her Master's degree in Special Education within the next couple of years. Sarah enjoys listening to music, cooking with her roommates and making art projects in her spare time.
Annie - Teacher - Annie has worked with children for the last ten years, through Ameri-Corps, pre-schools and public elementary schools. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science and is attending the Graduate School of Education program at Portland State. Annie is excited to participate in the education of the children attending The Goddard School located in Clackamas.
Lauren - Teacher Assistant - Lauren is currently a high school senior at Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego. She has always had a passion for learning and looks forward to giving back to the children what she has learned. Lauren has enjoyed spending time with and caring for children as long as she can remember. She values the importance of a child’s education and their relationships with adults as well as other children. Lauren love the outdoors, music, animals and spending time with people she cares about. She looks forward to getting to know every one at The Goddard School located in Clackamas!
Serena - Preschool Teacher - Serena graduated from Western Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys spending time with children and is excited to have the opportunity to work with the wonderful children in the Preschool program. When she is not at work, Serena loves spending time with her husband as well as her niece and nephew.
Mychaela - Preschool,/i> Teacher - Mychaela graduated from Pacific University with a Bachelor of Art degree in Early Childhood Education. She has always loved working with children. Mychaela is excited for the opportunity to work with a great organization like The Goddard School located in Clackamas. In her free time she loves to read, make scrapbooks and participate in outdoor activities. Mychaela enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Bonnie - Get Set Teacher - I am very excited to be a part of The Goddard School. I have been teaching for the past five years. I have my AA degree in Child Development. I have always known I wanted to be a teacher. My husband and I just recently moved to Oregon from California. It is so gorgeous up here, the air is clean, the mountains are huge and the rivers ar full of fish. We are excited to be able to plant roots here.
