“Our son started in the Young Toddler room in May 2011 and we are thrilled with his experience so far. Ms. Amanda has done a wonderful job helping him adjust to his new routine and she even taught him to say the word ‘please’ during his second week! Every day he looks forward to playing in the indoor gym, the outdoor playground and participating in the many activities they plan for the children. As working parents, my husband and I find such comfort knowing that our son is happy, safe and very busy playing and learning at his new school. In addition, Alane and Dana offer a great balance between gentle nurturing and exciting developmental activities, all with a spirit of fun. I love getting the notes each day on what Claire has experienced and enjoyed. Alane has worked particularly diligently to teach Claire self soothing skills. "As a new mom, everyday is a learning experience. The nurturing at The Goddard School was not only provided to our son, Oliver, but it was also extended to the family. Everyday I was greeted with a kind smile and hello by Gina along with the Sea Lions teachers. That goes a long way when you have limited sleep and are just trying to figure things out daily.
