The Pre-K Team - Welcome to The Goddard School located in Chesterfield! We are so proud to introduce you to our Pre-K Team!

Faculty members in our Spectacular Stingrays classroom include :

Ms. Candice has been a member of The Goddard School team for over seven years, and the Stingrays, Pre-K teacher for five of those years. Ms. Candice has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from John Tyler Community College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Education from Mary Baldwin College.  

Ms. Ashley has been a member of The Goddard School team for over four years. She has previously been a Pre-K Assistant as well as a Preschool Assistant. She has taken classes at John Tyler Community College in Early Childhood Education as well as Psychology. Ms. Ashley intends to further her degree in Psychology.

Faculty members in our Smart Sharks classroom include:

Ms. Susan has been a member of The Goddard School team for over four years, with all of those years as the Pre-K Smart Sharks teacher. Ms. Susan has over 16 years of experience in the childcare industry and has completed her Child Development Associates. 

Ms. Rachel was previously employed at The Goddard School part time before she left to pursue her degree. She graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Longwood University. She is currently enrolled in a Master's program for Elementary Education at Mary Baldwin College.

Ms. Amberly is a teacher in our 1/2 day Pre-K program. She has a B.S. in Family Studies and a minor in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland at College Park.  Ms. Amberly has several years of experience teaching in Pre-K as well as coaching and teaching swim.

Ms. Lisa - Manager     Ms. Lisa graduated from University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth with a degree in Sociology.  She joined The Goddard School located on Krause Road, first as a Goddard parent in 2007 and then as an employee in 2008.  Her decision for a career change was inspired by her wonderful family.  Ms. Lisa is thrilled to be a part of The Goddard School located on Krause Road and truly believes in the importance of high-quality early learning environments. Her focus is on ensuring that the highest quality standards for our educational programs are achieved while providing exceptional customer service for all of our families. She wants every child to have a positive first experience with school.

Kindergarten
Ms. Anne-Margaret Ms. Anne-Margaret attended Virginia Tech for two years with a concentration in art and graduated from Barton College with a B.S. degree in Education and a minor in History.  In her 12 years of teaching in a county school system she has taught every grade in elementary school.  She looks forward to a terrific year here at The Goddard School!

Ms. Karen - Director     Ms. Karen has a B.S. in Child Development from Radford University. She has over 30 years in the child care field with the last 7 years being at here as the lead Toddler teacher in the Sea Turtles classroom.
