Welcome to The Goddard School® located at Rivers Bend, serving Chester and the surrounding areas of Colonial Heights, Fort Lee, Hopewell, Dinwiddie, Varina, and Prince George. We are conveniently located at the entrance of Rivers Bend, just off Route 10 between I-95 and I- 295.
Let us introduce ourselves. We are Stephen and Paula Graham, on-site owners and operators of our School. We are also proud parents – our daughter attends elementary school in Chester and also attends our before- and after- school program. As parents of a young child, we know the importance of providing the best possible environment for your child’s education and development, while also staying within affordable limits.
Whatever the age, the key to young children developing a love of learning is to make learning fun. From infant to toddler, we provide a wholesome, loving and stimulating learning environment. For our preschoolers and pre-kindergarteners, the structured academic and social programs are designed to have our children become confident learners before they enter a private or public school Kindergarten setting. We also offer extracurricular activities, dance and soccer.
Our Private Kindergarten offers a small class size and one-on-one attention where students flourish. Once they reach Elementary school, we offer a high quality before- and after-school program where we provide a nurturing learning environment with homework help, skills enhancement, and indoor and outdoor play. We also have a fantastic summer camp program!
Our state-of-the-art, custom designed buildings were planned to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. We have a large indoor gymnasium for wet days and three large age appropriate playgrounds and play areas where children are supervised while they enjoy themselves playing and exercising their muscles in the fresh air! Our second building has a Computer Lab and Game room, Arts & Crafts room, and a Kid’s Kitchen for cooking projects. We are proud to have the most comprehensive preschool, kindergarten, and before- and after -school program in our area.
