Welcome to The Goddard School® in Chesapeake located in the heart of the Great Bridge section of the City, on the corner of Cedar Road and Cedar Lane.
As on-site owners and parents, we know first-hand the importance of providing the best possible environment for our children. The Goddard School® can make a positive difference in your child's life. Our warm, loving atmosphere features full and part time year round programs. For the convenience of working families, our extended day program is from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our programs are designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development of your child from six weeks to Kindergarten (six years of age).
Areas of growth and development are highlighted on our daily lesson plans, which our degreed lead teachers create and bring to life in appropriate and attainable ways. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace according to their individual needs and abilities.
Our state-of-the-art, custom designed building has been planned to provide a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment. Two separate playgrounds have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age.
