    Mrs. Niccie K. - I am excited to be a part of the administrative team. I am from the midwest; my husband, daughter and I moved to the area three years ago. We love it and we are very happy to be here. I attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and studied Interior Design. My daughter has been part of the Goddard family since its opening and we love it! In my spare time, I enjoy going to the beach with my family, traveling, hanging out with our English Mastiffs and watching our favorite football team the Indianapolis Colts - Go Colts!

    Mrs. Dana M. - Pre-K Teacher Hello, I am Dana. I teach the Pre-K Class at The Goddard School®. I have lived in six different states. My husband, (grown) sons, and I moved to Charlotte in 1979. I am the proud Grandmother to three grandchildren. During my free time, I love to dance and am very active in my church. I attended Akron University, Union College, and Central Piedmont Community College. I worked as a Teacher for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for 16 years, in addition, for the past seven years I have worked with children in Pre-K. I am very glad to teach at The Goddard School® and look forward to teaching your child. I am able to use my vast experience and acquired materials to motivate young minds to use the tools I believe they will need to become useful members of society. My philosophy is that all children will learn if encouraged and supported with the correct materials and environment indicative of their development process. Children not only learn required academics but also manners and respect for others.

    Ms. Jennifer H. - Pre-K Teacher Hello, my name is Jennifer. I recently moved to Charlotte and love it! I graduated, with honors, from Western Carolina University in May of 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Birth - Kindergarten Education. My family still lives in my hometown of Silver Spring, Maryland, so I try to go back to visit as often as I can. I love to go skiing on the weekends during the winter, scrapbook when I can find time, and enjoy curling up on the couch to watch a good movie. I have always enjoyed working with young children and my experiences with them are what have encouraged me to pursue my career in teaching at The Goddard School. I truly believe "to teach is to learn twice". I look forward to learning with the children at Goddard!

    Mrs. Rachel M. - Preschool Teacher Hi, my name is Rachel and I am a teacher in the Preschool 1 Class. My husband, Matt, and I moved to Charlotte last fall from Myrtle Beach. I received my Bachelor's degree from Coastal Carolina University in Interdisciplinary Studies, with minors in both Marine Science and Coastal Geology, with a focus on Nontraditional Science Education. My experience with young children includes an internship at The Children's Museum of South Carolina and teaching Pre-K for a church program in Myrtle Beach. I recently became certified as a Lead Teacher in the State of North Carolina and I am currently earning my second degree in Early Childhood Education. In my free time I enjoy playing with my two dogs, working in the yard, and spending time with my husband. I am excited to be a part of The Goddard School® and hope to make a positive impact on your children's lives.

    Ms. Shannon M. - Get Set Teacher Hello, my name is Shannon. I graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina in Elementary Education. My experience includes teaching Kindergarten - second grade in both Florida and Mecklenburg County. I felt drawn to Early Childhood Education and began working with two year olds over a year ago. I also have two of my own children. I love working at The Goddard School® and I look forward to working with your child!

    Ms. Eve - I am excited to be a Co-Lead Teacher in the Pre-K classroom. I have worked with Pre-K children for the past four years. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and I am looking forward to pursuing my teaching certificate in the fall. In addition to my teaching certificate, my goal is to obtain a Master's degree in Counseling or Administration. In my spare time, I enjoy golf, tennis, volleyball and any outdoor activity. I live with my best friend and my new kitten, Dallas - Go Dallas Cowboys! I am honored to continue my teaching career at The Goddard School® and I look forward to working with you and your children.

    Mrs. Beth L. - Infant Teacher Hello my name is Beth. I've been married to my best friend for 23 years and we have two daughters. We are originally from New York but have enjoyed living in Charlotte for the past 13 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education and have worked with children for many years. I am certified in First Aid, CPR, and have been taking continuing education classes each year. I am very happy to be part of The Goddard School®. I enjoy working with infants and I am looking forward to caring for your precious children.

    Ms. Tabatha M. - I am part of the Educational Support Team. I am originally from the south and consider myself a pure country girl! I spend most of my time with my pride and joy, my two-year-old son. I also enjoy going out on the lake. I am very excited to be a part of The Goddard School® team and I look forward to working with your child.

    Ms. Katie W. - I am excited to be the Kitchen Support Staff at The Goddard School®. I attended Johnson & Wales University where I received an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, attending live music festivals, traveling and eating out. Through my position at Goddard, I will spend a lot of time in the classroom and I am looking forward to meeting all of the children and families at The Goddard School®.

    Ms. Malissa P. - I am part of the Educational Support Team. I recently moved to the area from further south. I am currently attending York Technological Institute in pursuit of a degree in Criminal Justice. Outside of work and school, my hobbies are shopping, boating and surfing the internet. I love being a Teacher at The Goddard School®. I look forward to working with your child.

    Ms. Regina W. - I am a Co-Lead Teacher in the Young Toddler class. I am a graduate of South Carolina State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Each summer during college, I was a live-in Counselor at Upward Bound Math and Science Camp. I enjoyed working with the children, not only to strengthen their work, but also to help build their self-esteem. I love reading, spending time outdoors and going shopping. I am excited to be a part of Goddard's team and I look forward to meeting you and working with your children.

    Ms. Tracy - I am Co-Lead Teacher in the Preschool 1 classroom. I graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Fine Arts. I am currently a graduate student at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, and am looking forward to completing the Early Childhood Education certificate program at CPCC. I have five years experience working with preschool-aged children and also several years experience teaching visual arts in the Charlotte community. I have a passion for education and the visual arts and look forward to sharing my gifts teaching in the Preschool 1 classroom.

    Ms. Alana - I am Co-Lead Teacher in the Preschool 2 class. I recently graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. For the past eight months I have been a stay-at-home mom with my son. Prior to moving to South Carolina in December, I worked with individuals with disabilities. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am excited to be a part of Goddard's team.

    Ms. Lisa - I am a Co-Lead Teacher in the Toddler class. I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to Charlotte to pursue my teaching career over two years ago with my fiance. I graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. While attending college I worked for the YMCA Child Development Center in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. After graduation, I spent two years in the Gaston County school system first as a First Grade Teacher, then as a Fourth Grade Teacher. In my free time, I enjoy being with my friends and family. I am excited to be a part of Goddard's team. I look forward to meeting you and working with your children.

    Ms. Courtney F. - I am honored to work in the First Steps classroom. This is my first experience working in a preschool and I look forward to working with your children. I was drawn to this position because I love children and I believe that early education is key to their development. I went to The University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee to study Marketing, but the south will always be my home. In my free time, I enjoy learning about art including photography, painting and drawing. I also enjoy spending time with my family and visiting the beach. I am excited to work with you and your child.

    Mrs. Peggy H. - I am part of the Educational Support team. My husband and I moved to Charlotte with our three daughters in 1999 from Rochester, New York. My oldest daughter is at UNC-W, my middle daughter is at ECU and my youngest is at Community House Middle School. During the past eight years I have worked at the Morrison YMCA in a variety of children's programs they offer. I am very excited to be a part of The Goddard School® and enjoy teaching and interacting with your child each day!

    Candice G. - I am a Co-Teacher in the Infant room. I love working with children of all ages and find it rewarding. I graduated from Butler High School where I obtained my CNA certification and worked at St. Marks, with the disabled. I am certified by the State of North Carolina as a Lead Teacher and plan on furthering my education. I am grateful to be a part of Goddard's team and look forward to being a part of your child's day.

    Samantha P. - I am Co-Lead Teacher in the First Steps classroom. I am originally from Fort Meyers, Florida, but I moved to North Carolina to attend Appalachian State University. I received my degree in August of 2009 with a concentration in Child Development. After completing my internship at The Goddard School I was overjoyed to be able to stay on as a full-time teacher. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my two dogs. I look forward to getting to know each and every child in the First Steps classroom.

    Brittney T. - I am a Co-Lead Teacher in the Toddler classroom. I have worked at The Goddard School located on Ballantyne Corporate Place in Charlotte for over two years and I love it! I am certified as a Lead Teacher by the State of North Carolina. I chose a profession in Early Childhood because I believe children are wonderful and a true joy. During my free time I enjoy art and making scrap books. My long term goal is to become an art teacher. I look forward to working with you and your child.

    Tina W. - I am the Co-Lead Teacher in the Get Set classroom. I am certified as a Lead Teacher in the state of North Carolina and am currently finishing up my degree in Early Childhood Education at Stanly Community College. I also have over two years experience working with young children in a preschool setting. I love working with children and getting to know each child as an individual. On a personal note, I love cats and in fact, I have one named, Smoky. I also love ladybugs. I am also getting married next spring.

    Ms. Kerrin - I am a Co-Lead Teacher in the Get Set classroom. I am from Long Island, New York. I recently graduated from Belmont Abbey College with a degree in Educational Studies and a minor in Sports Management. I have worked with children for several years and have loved every minute of it. I am excited to be a part of Goddard's family and to get to know you and your child.

    Ms. Rachel H. - I am Co-Lead Teacher in the Toddler classroom. I am originally from Boca Raton, Florida, and just recently relocated to Charlotte. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. In Boca Raton, I was a Teacher in Pre-Kindergarten but I am excited about my new age group. So far I love this area and am very excited to be working in the friendly environment at The Goddard School. I can't wait to get to know you and your child.

    Ms. Sarah M. - I am Co-Lead Teacher in the Young Toddler classroom. I recently moved to Charlotte from St. Louis with my new husband and am excited to work with the children at The Goddard School. I played soccer for the University of Missouri-Rolla where I obtained my degree in Psychology. After graduating, I worked as a Child Development Coordinator for a Child Drop-In Center at an agency focused on helping the homeless. I also started working towards my Master's degree in Teaching in Early Childhood Education, which I received in May from Webster University in St. Louis. I have always had a passion for working with young children and look forward to guiding your children through their growth and development.

    Ms. Kelly - I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. I graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Elementary Education. I taught at The Goddard School in Virginia for two years where I was the Lead Teacher in the Preschool classroom. I recently moved to Charlotte to be closer to my sisters. I am very happy that I can continue to work as part of The Goddard family as a Co-Lead Teacher in the Preschool 2 classroom.
