Mrs. Dana M. - Pre-K Teacher
Hello, I am Dana. I teach the Pre-K Class at The Goddard School®. I have lived in six different states. My husband, (grown) sons, and I moved to Charlotte in 1979. I am the proud Grandmother to three grandchildren. During my free time, I love to dance and am very active in my church. I attended Akron University, Union College, and Central Piedmont Community College. I worked as a Teacher for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for 16 years, in addition, for the past seven years I have worked with children in Pre-K. I am very glad to teach at The Goddard School® and look forward to teaching your child. I am able to use my vast experience and acquired materials to motivate young minds to use the tools I believe they will need to become useful members of society. My philosophy is that all children will learn if encouraged and supported with the correct materials and environment indicative of their development process. Children not only learn required academics but also manners and respect for others.
